Hello groupies! It's been a while and wanted to stop by and say hi!

Just a few more days until I could book our cabin at CCV! Our next trip is in October and I think this is the first time we visit WDW this month. In the past, it was mostly between May or Nov/Dec. Before I decided on October, I didn't realize due to MNSSHP happening, the deluxe resort guests extended evening at MK would be changed to being at AK instead. A little bummed but oh well, it is what it is.

Oh good to know! I guess last year it was AK, but we would prefer HS though.

Even last year - it alternated between AK and HS IIRC.

Yes, the lake side rooms at VWL definitely catch the sunrise and 5th floor has no trees blocking the sun. We actually find that to be a plus for those rooms as we enjoy the sunrise.

Just fyi- The gas grills at BRV are extremely clean and work properly. I checked out a case of grill tools at the To Go window at Geyser Point. They said just bring them back dirty.

One more day at work and one more sleep y'all, just sayin'. I have to say, this trip has seemed so long coming even though we were there back in Dec. With the Treasure cruise looming in a week, the reason the trip to WDW started anyway, all of it combined has got us uber excited.

Work has kicked our booties this year so far and even down to the wire, even though I asked the folks in charge that we do most of our work for 2 weeks ago to get anything they needed priced, etc to get to me by last Fri. they are still sending over pricing as late as yesterday PM. Not complaining as we need and want the work but I wish they would have gotten it sooner than later. So work follows us to WDW.

But on the positive, we are going on the Wild Africa Trek at AK next Fri, a first for us. Then the Treasure the next day, and all the WDW stuff in between. Staying at Kidani this trip.

I promise I will share pics. Anyone looking for any particular pics, or anything you folks want me to put eyes on in parks or resorts, any requests, I will do my best. I enjoy sharing the journey with my fellow groupies!

Enjoy your vacation! We'll be at Kidani in June, and that's the only entertainment we'll need--sit on our balcony and watch animals; eat at Sanaa and perhaps Boma or Jiko; head to Disney Springs for a meal; enjoy the pool. No park visits in the foreseeable future. And, we expect a lot of reporting about your time on the Treasure!

Have a wonderful trip! Sounds like you will have the best of both worlds with a cruise planned after your park visit! My family and I, along with my sister's family, are headed to Boulder Ridge in mid-June, so looking forward to reading your reviews. I was torn between Kidani and Boulder Ridge, but my sister stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for her honeymoon 30 years ago, so it holds a special place in their hearts and our's. I am so excited to show them all of the new things since they visited with us waaayy back in 2013, including Galaxy's Edge. We're pretty bummed about the removal of Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Bell, though. All of our kids are 21 and over now, so it will be a whole new experience for us!!

So this AM somehow we saw the sunrise at Kidani after the long drive
We are at AK now it’s packed but with no GP and no LL we are perfectly happy

This has been a very relaxing trip for us so far, literally, only spent 4 hrs total in 2 days at parks! And we are enjoying every minute of it.
Today will be a bit more of stretch as we are heading now to HS, do a show, eat at 50s then skyliner to Epcot to see Queensryche show

We ate Topplinos breakfast yesterday which I still give 5 stars for meal alone
Spoke with a CM we met on the Wish back in Apr 24, had same waiter as before, funny, and they both seemed to appreciate us reaching out to them and remembering.
Went to Epcot long enough to get two remaining kidcot stops for grands, cards and stickers they missed in Dec

Got to say Kidani is fast approaching being my 2nd fave resort here
Y’all guess which is number one
