40% off select restaurants mon-thurs (VERY select)
20% off disney store online
Epcot Lounge

From the article:
The first wave of discounts will be valid at the following locations from May 14th through June 30th:
– Hollywood & Vine – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
– Tusker House Restaurant (Lunch & Dinner Only) – Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park
– Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood – Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
– Boatwright’s Dining Hall – Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
– Cape May Café (Dinner Only) – Disney’s Beach Club Resort

The second wave will be valid at the following venues from July 1st through 31st:
– The Diamond Horseshoe – Magic Kingdom park
– Whispering Canyon Café – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
– Tiffins Restaurant – Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park
– Coral Reef Restaurant – EPCOT
– Ale & Compass Restaurant (Breakfast & Lunch Only) – Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Does this apply to everyone who is has an AP or it is something extra you have to buy? Likely Disney chose the restaurants that tend to have the fewest customers during the selected dates/times.

Oh, well-it ends before we get there. Otherwise, we'd be interested in the opportunity to try Tiffins.

Very disappointing. Will be at Disney in May/June but no interest in any of restaurant offered…but do like what’s offered in July🤷🏻‍♀️

DISAPPOINTED at the very limited selection of dining locations. 40% is sweet, but odds of using by us is low. I booked one for our May trip. Hollywood & Vine. DS#1 always looks in window and wants to go but I won't pay those prices. Looking at maybe 1 or 2 for June trip with DS#2. And DS#2 will be able to use at a couple in July. A guys trip so they are looking at AYCTE. I'd rather 20-30% and more choices to eat like last time we used it.

AND NO additional shopping discounts at WDW, that is a bummer BUT no extra shopping by me so their loss I suppose. Online, okay but they often offer that discount so whoopee. If they really wanted some cash flow they would not have limited this so much while at the parks. Oh well. More money stays in my pocket.

Shoo, select is right! 🤣

I do think we’re gonna try Tusker House next month, now. DH has never experienced character dining because of the cost. So I guess it worked on us? lol.

I was hoping for a better in park merch discount: oh well, won’t spend more money on stuff I don’t need.

That's an excellent point. When looking at my June AP trip last year I spent more because of the AP discounts than I would have normally. I got merch I liked, but didn't necessarily love which is my usual do I buy it litmus test, because of the extra discount. I ate at a few TS I would have skipped, even tried Le Cellier for the first time. Hmm... guess my pocketbook actually appreciates the lack of discounts :rotfl2:

We're not selective about dining so Hollywood & Vine it shall be for the grand debut of the musicals at HS.

Isn't V.I.Passholder days a summer offering?
No idea, I didn't read the article, and even if it is only summer for now, it could change for early fall. I don't have an AP but the people I travel with do, so I often take advantage of their discounts, as we are together.

I often wonder who is sitting around the table and as a group decide some of these things. I get that these particular restaurants may have trouble attracting guests but last time we did this it was 20% and we decided to book almost daily - unusual for us. I feel like this is really a false offer ~ they are trying to make it look like they did something great with the 40% but the limit means we get minimal benefit and they will make minimal extra money. Whatever but they really need to go back to the realization that us APs are their baseline, their money in the bank when the economy is down.

And exactly on the shopping. We usually buy a MNSSHP tee shirt and that is about it anymore. Fortunately DS doesn't ask for things. We venture over to the outlet and fill a couple of large bags.

This...it really feels like a slap in the dace because they advertised it. This is nothing and it would've been much better if they didn't announce it or advertise it as something great...because it's really next to nothing at all.
