Alicia has been already, shes talked about her visit on her most recent (I think) podcast, but I think its a crime that RixFlix wasnt invited, Universal should be ashamed of themselves, or at least the pen pusher who made that decision.

Yeah - but he is over the top positive to the point of annoying. I think that is what they want.
BTW - they invited a lot of folks that normally would not get invited IMO so that makes it even odder.
I also wonder if Universal did not like all those fly over videos and reports.

Beyond that what exactly was the story yesterday - it seemed like there were more than influencers at Epic from some of the background shots I saw.
Was there some sort of soft preview as well?
If you’ve followed his career, it should be no surprise why he suddenly soured on Disney and decamped to the other guys across town.

It is pretty odd.

I have mixed feelings on Rix Flix but he has been on board with Universal long before it was trendy.
He was no doubt the go to for Universal for many years, but more recently I find him more difficult to watch and a bit annoying.
To be fair most of the influencers are pretty annoying.

That said I think he has always been somewhat iffy on taking free stuff from Universal - I've not watched him to see why he was not invited but it may be that he wants to experience for real like a guest on day one.

Not particularly, but I have watched him occasionally when it is something of interest.
Something new with him is I guess he is a travel agent now and selling Universal trips - well at least its not yet another person selling drop ship coffee.

In general I am getting really tired of most of the influencers - not just Disney and Universal - had some problems with them in Munich during the Christmas Markets and Prague at the clock - they are all just so unaware and self absorbed - I know that is part of being an influencer. I find 90% are unwatchable after the first minute or so. Been trying to do some looking into a few trips over the next year or and they are all so damn annoying. And much like Yelp\Trip adviser reviews you really cant trust them fully and have to take them with a grain of salt.

Seems like UO really made great strides to make their rides more accommodating
I watched this yesterday - was good to see - some of the rides at the existing parks are a bit uncomfortable for me and I dont even bother with Rip Ride Rocket anymore (not really missing anything). Thats the only one I struggle with. Its a very fine line between safety and allowing for larger folks so its nice to see they made an effort.

I literally couldn't tell you the name of any influencer for anything because I legit to don't pay attention or care. You are totally right can only take for a grain of salt. I am so over all of it it is so hard to find honest legit reviews of anything anymore. Plus I have zero time or care to spend hours watching the content, if I want to know I would rather read it which takes way less time.

Ya I def understand sometimes it's safety. But for example at Hollywood life of pets which is a slow moving ride has a restriction that I find wild. Same with yoshi in Japan (I think Hollywood too). To me those should be exactly what they did with yoshi in Orlando, just a lap bar that sits wherever it comes down.

Its exactly why I don't watch any of the Orlando influencers. Too much Disney/ Universal content. The only one I watch now is Carpetbagger as he travels the country and visits different places.

I'm glad to see someone else who finds reading the material to be much faster/less time consuming! I always get annoyed at videos because of how slow the information is when I can read it so much faster!

I think a large majority of people prefer the video format though...:/

I hate the videos and skip over them if the link is for a video.
But then I also dont experience my trip beforehand through someone else.

I love the videos but more so of those who travel the country. I don't watch to see reviews or the newest merch for Disney or Universal. I watch to see places and parks to visit.

An example is I watched a multi video of a train trip from Chicago to San Francisco with a bunch of things to do in San Francisco. Watching that has got me looking into a trip like that.

Going to watch this, but I had a friend who did one of the previews, who felt it was a slight improvement, but still felt some of the coasters were very snug - the one in Isle of Berk especially (she is a size 16 for comparisons sake).
