Triple stroller?

We are planning a trip for July. At the time of the trip we will have:
4.5 year old
3 year old
1 year old

Any triple stroller recommendations? Or do a double and a single? We will have plenty of aunts and uncles and grandparents for help.

Is the triple stroller larger than 31” x 52”? If so it’s not allowed. But I suggest 2 strollers anyway so you can split if necessary (1 kid gets sick, needs a nap, etc.)

We are having this exact same conundrum. Similar ages when we are going. Our 5 year old wants to be more free and independent this time. But will undoubtedly get tired at times.

We are buying a stroller "buggy board" for her. You can do a quick Google search to get an idea. Gives the one child freedom but can also relax and take breaks when needed.

I do agree with the above comment. If any need to go back, we may have issues. At that point, I would just rent one at the park.

Where are you all staying? Another big concern I have is folding them up to get on Disney transportation. We are not sure if we are staying on properly or off property.

AoA. We have always rented strollers and used the GT Mini Double. It can be a pain to get them folded at first, but once you get the hang, not too bad. We mostly struggled with the other stuff attached to the stroller and under, not the stroller itself. Made it harder to fully collapse. We had fans, coolers, toys, bags, and other stuff.

That’s exactly my concern. With three kids, there’s a bunch of extra stuff we have with us. We typically stay off property so we have our rental car and move at our own pace but I’m a little nervous about being confined to Disney transportation.

It can be a challenge. This will be our third time with the kids. We've gotten smarter each time with our strategy. The more stuff we can easily pack into bags quickly without taking too much space the better. Then just pop it over a shoulder.

It'll be easier for us now that two are older and more independent. Getting them up and onto the bus, while dealing with stroller and bags was not fun when younger. But we will now have a 10 month when we go.

I had 5 under 7, and did use a tandem triple at home when the littles were all under 3 a lot (more than a year). It was a beast. Lose the fans, toys, etc., just the basics. Put what you need in a backpack. We rented from WDW when our youngest were 4, 4 and 6 and they either squeezed in or took turns (6 year old was the size of a 4 year old).

When my kids were around those ages we used a double stroller and baby carrier. 1 was in the carrier and the older 2 in the stroller. If the oldest wanted to walk, the baby went in the stroller (or if I needed a break). On a couple of occasions the middle would get a shoulder ride while the oldest and youngest used the stroller. I really prefer not having two strollers.

Also, we do as some above have suggested and have a system in place for when the stroller needs to be folded so everything in the baskets can get grabbed easily (thrown into a backpack or carried by an older kid/ adult).

Beware of using the stroller too much! By lunchtime, you will be tired of pushing the stroller, but the kids will be well rested and want to get out and run around like crazy.

I would use a good double (city mini or similar) and then take a decent umbrella stroller. Keep all of the stuff on the double so you don’t have to empty two strollers. The umbrella stroller will be a lot easier to fold and deal with on the bus, as well as take up less space in your room.
