Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a hotel in Vancouver that has shuttles both the airport and the cruise terminal?
Thanks!

We took the train (I cant remember how much it was but you can google it) from the Vancouver airport to the downtown area where the hotels are near the port and we stayed at the Pan Pacific which was within walking distance of the Disney Cruise ship. The Pan Pacific also had a nice little convenience store inside the lobby where we were able to buy snacks and bottles of water for the cruise-it was great!

Not likely. The hotel and the cruise terminal aren’t anywhere near each other. We took private transportation down to the cruise port from the airport and stayed at the Pacific Rim. I know a lot of people take the train.

The morning of we just walked over with our luggage.

While the Pan Pacific hotel is super convenient - it sits on top of the entrance to cruise check-in - you have plenty of options that can be reached in a walk or taxi or walk/train combo.

Vancouver has a nice SkyTrain to bring guests to downtown from the airport.

And a lot of hotels in downtown that are within a few miles of the port.

As others have stated - we took the train from Airport to downtown.
The PanPacific is, by far, our favorite place to stay prior to a cruise. We booked a package that included breakfast each morning and, on departure day, hotel stewards took our luggage directly to our cabin onboard ship. Loved it!!

We've sailed out of Vancouver twice. The first time we stayed at the Residence Inn downtown. Great hotel, but no airport shuttle and not walkable to the port. We had no problem taking the train when we arrived from the airport stopto the stop nearest the hotel. On cruise morning we took the train again to the stop closest to the port (end of the line). The second time, a few weeks ago, we stayed at the Sheraton by the airport. The hotel had a very convenient airport shuttle. The morning of cruise we walked to the nearest train stop (the hotel is between two stops we asked the front desk what they recommended and followed their advice). Once again, took the train to the last stop at the port. The Vancouver train is clean, reliable, and affordable. We are family of 3 with reasonable luggage- two suitcases and two backpacks...any more luggage than that would be difficult to maneuver and we'd probably hire a taxi or ride share.

The Pan Pacific, it is easy to get to from the airport by train with a block and a half walk and it is connected to the cruise terminal. The Pan Pacific Bell Services will take your bags to the Cruise Terminal and you don't have to even deal with it.

We ended up taking a taxi to our hotel (the Fairmont, across from the cruise terminal) and also to our hotel near the airport, since we stayed in Vancouver for an extra day after the cruise ended.

We are Marriott-affilliated and there are 4 big/nice ones, not too far (but not next to) Canada Place. We stayed at the Pinnacle and it was fine. Easy walk if one has roll-able luggage. SkyTrain or car-service to/from YVR is not too difficult.

Alternatively, stay out by the airport (not as pretty), if more convenient. On a business trip 10+ years ago, I stayed in Richmond because I had a vehicle.

The Fairmont at the Airport does from DCL's website

Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotel Stays and Transportation

If you've booked a hotel stay with us before or after your cruise, transfers are available, for an additional fee, between the airport, hotel and cruise port. Call us at (800) 951-3532 for more information or to add these transfers.

A Disney Cruise Line representative will be available outside the baggage claim area (past Customs form collection) to direct you to your designated transportation. Transportation may include a motorcoach, minibus or taxi, depending on arrival time and party size. If you have booked a hotel stay before your cruise you will receive additional information about transportation to the Canada Place Cruise Terminal when checking in.

The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is located within the airport. If you booked a stay at this hotel and are coming from the Domestic arrivals area, start at the luggage carousel and head north to the escalators. Take the escalators up one level to Domestic Departures and turn right at the top. Follow the signs to the international Terminal Departures, walking past the food court until you reach the end of the check-in counters. Access to the hotel is on the right-hand side via the stairs, escalator or elevator. The hotel is recognizable by the glass walkway above with the crystal chandelier.

The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is located within the airport. If you booked a stay at this hotel and are coming from the International arrivals area, take the elevator up to the Departures Level on the third floor. Turn right out of the elevator and walk past the Starbucks coffee shop to the USA baggage claim in the USA departure hall. Access to the hotel is on the right-hand side via the stairs, escalator or elevator. The Fairmount Vancouver Airport is recognizable by the glass walkway above with the crystal chandelier.

There are no hotels that have free shuttles from the airport AND to the port. The port and the airport are actually in different cities. The sky train is an easy and convenient way to get from the airport to downtown and the port. I’m not even sure there are hotels that run free shuttles to the port downtown because getting around downtown on foot or with transit is easy but driving a lot of shuttles around is not.

The Pan Pacific is literally at the port and there is a Fairmont across the street. Any downtown hotel will have reasonable access to the port though.

I think the best choice depends on when you're arriving and if you're planning to tour Vancouver. If so, stay close to the cruise terminal (others have posted good options, and there are other threads talking all about hotel options in Vancouver - the Pan Pacific is the big popular one because it's right there at Canada Place and they will take your bags down for you the morning of your cruise - we stayed at the Delta which is just a couple blocks away, and there are a lot of other easily walkable hotels). If not, the Fairmont at the Airport has DCL transfers to/from the cruise terminal, and the hotel itself is right there in the airport. It is convenient to your flights, but not to touring Vancouver (it's a maybe 20-30 minute train ride out from the cruise port area). We stayed there the night before our return flight after our cruise, and it was very nice and convenient for our early-morning flight.
