Hello,
When booking a Walt Disney World Resort & Park Tickets Package, why is the limit for park tickets only 10 days?
Thanks in advance?
Just to add to @gottalovepluto's answer. Your 10 day ticket is valid for a 14 day window of dates. There is no official answer as to why WDW has chosen to limit US based tickets to 10 days. The UK and Ireland offer 14 day tickets that have a 18 day window of dates.

And just to add to the other replies…
If you are interested in some other non-park activities you can add the “water park & sports” or “park-hopper plus” option which gives you 10 entries to a waterpark, mini-golf, foot golf or Oak Trail golf and extends that ticket “use window” to 15 days. So that’s 10 days in the major theme parks and another 10 plus options.

Has anyone had any luck ordering tickets from Boardwalk Ticketing lately? Their website has been saying, "OUR TICKETS WILL BE RIGHT BACK!" for several days. I emailed them, but no response.

A couple posters on the Maple Leaf Ticketing thread also mentioned Boardwalk Ticketing is having problems with Disney tickets right now.

I purchased an annual pass and have it linked to my MDE. Will I need to stop at guest services before going into the park for the first time or can I just scan in with my magic band?

I’d probably want a physical pass at some point, but hoping to avoid having to wait in the early morning guest service line if possible.

You'll get conflicting answers, but in my experience, just scan in. I was told by someone that I had to stop at guest services, so I did. She checked and told me that I was all set and I hadn't needed to stop there. But then, when I went to scan in, I got the dreaded blue light. They called a manager over (while I stood there thinking "but they TOLD me I was all set, but now this?!). Turns out I'd forgotten that, as an Annual Passholder now, I needed park reservations now, so the manager made me a park reservation while I waited, and in the park I went! Hopefully you will too-just remember to make that park reservation!

I currently have a package booked with hotel, 5-day park hopper tickets, and free dining. I'm looking to upgrade the tickets to Annual Passes, however I cannot find out what my expected costs would be to upgrade. I called Disney, but the CM could not give me a value of my current tickets and thus could not tell me the upgrade costs.

How can I estimate my costs to upgrade? The CM said we would only know the costs when we arrive and do the upgrade, is that correct?

Just booked my package w/ 1 day-1 park tickets for next Jan.

I know an onsite 'perk' is now being able to book LL 7 days in advance. To do that you have to purchase the Multipass. I didn't see anywhere through my booking process to select 'add Multipass' to our tickets to enable me to do that .

I know Multipass used to be a 'day of ' purchase. So how do we get it ahead of time to book LL for our stay? Do I have to have hoppers to qualify?

LLMP, LLSP and LLPP can all be purchased 7 days prior to your check-in date.

I have a room at AKL booked for July for 5 days for my family (2 adults, 12yo,9yo). We would need 3 adult tickets and 1 child ticket.

I spent some more time looking at deals and I found a convoluted way of buying tickets taking advantage of multiple offers. It seems substantially less than booking a straight package. Is this going to be acceptable or could it screw up our trip?

AKL resort stay using Disney plus+ discount
3 day/3 park tickets for (3x) adults
1 day MK ticket for (3x) adults
4 day 50% off ticket for (1x) child

It looks like the 3 day/3 park can be used over a 5 day span. If we do parks in this order breaking up the 3 park ticket with a MK ticket, is it a problem? Order of parks: Epcot, AK, MK, HS

I was also surprised that end of July MK ticket for one day is $175 full price. Is there any way that could go down?

You can do that. Just be sure to stop at Guest Relations or a ticket window and have the proper ticket "prioritized" -- with the restricted 3-day and single-entry MK ticket that shouldn't be necessary but just to be sure.

That's fine. See above about prioritizing tickets. And after entering the park make sure the correct ticket was used. It's much easier to correct onsite rather than later.

A one-day ticket to MK is absolutely the most expensive. It's very unlikely to be discounted. Buy it directly from WDW; authorized resellers sometimes actually upcharge that ticket.

Thanks. Another date reminder to set lol.

So to be sure I have this straight. At 7 days out I'll be able to add LLMP for all park days and make our LL selections for those days AND purchase LLSPs for our entire time, also.

(LLPP is a bit spendy for us, wish it wasn't)

Correct. However it's purchased one day at a time, but all days of your visit can be purchased at that 7-day mark. You'll choose the LLMP selections and/or any LLSP and then check-out (purchase) for that day. Repeat for each day of your visit. You might want to look at some of the LLMP threads to see if there might be need to purchase in reverse order -- starting with the last day of the trip to have the best selections and then work your way backwards to the first park day which likely will have less availability options.
