FLASHFLOOD Rock
Our dry bed is flat and not dangerous. Currently it has about 12 inches of lose sand and awful to walk IN .. not on.. this is because of ATV sand vehicles using it as route to the Colorado river. When the flood happens all the sand is washed away exposing new rock that is pretty when wet...not so much in my garden work but still beautiful as plant borders
Solar string lights spread out the yard on desert border sculptures... invisible during the day but what a show at night... and they turn off by themselves
Bougainvillea ... they bloom all year long and leave massive piles of paper petals that blow around in the constant wind ... give the plant water and it will grow like Jack's bean stalk....and the THORNS...no not PDX soccer but growing on the thick vines from the trunk ....that puncture you at any opportunity ......I have 7 over 6 feet .... looking for more...a weekly reminder of the bloody Thorn Crown
