The Official Riviera Owners & Info Thread

Is anyone here afraid of the quality of Riviera possibly going down once it‘s no longer actively sold? I‘m thinking of quality of food, upkeep of rooms and public spaces, service, etc. I find all of that to be superb at Riviera currently.
Considering all of that is financed out of membership dues, I'm going to guess the answer is no. Is the VGF or Poly any worse (or any worse when not in active sale). I actually think that the food was way better in the opening months, but COVID had them scale back the menus. It was truly much better originally, but still very good. I love the real plates at Riviera, now if they would let us do Mobile Order with a Dine In tag so that we can get real plates even then.

I hope they bring that Monte Cristo back!

God please bring back the lobster noodles at Topolinos.

Finally completed our first stay.
We loved it and can't wait to be back in 70 days. Only complaint which is a smaller one that isn't make or break in a resort; the store is just too small. When visiting/staying at other resorts you see how much bigger of a store they have or they have multiple.
I agree with this, we were underwhelmed by the store, compared to the other resorts we stayed at

I’m the first to admit that coffee has amazing health benefits and nothing beats the smell first thing in the AM!!

But I consumed way too much during grad school. I was taking evening classes and would drink multiple cups a night (+ throughout the day). It got to the point where if I didn’t have a few sips within 15 min of waking up, I’d have a massive headache all day…not fun.

I still drink lightly caffeinated tea occasionally (and Riv cold brew while on vaca) but can’t go back to 7 cups a day!
I am very sensitive to caffeine in coffee, which is why I avoid it. Do you think the cold brew is lightly caffeinated or perhaps they can make decaf? I have to try it!

Does anyone have pictures of the rooms with 101 dalmatians? Is the aristocats art only in the two bedrooms? Love me some Aristocats 🐈

Def not lightly caffeinated! I don’t drink coffee at all anymore but make an exception for the cold brew (and have it first thing in the AM or I am doomed!)

Is closer to the skyliner the room request you should ask for if you actually want to have the best skyliner view from the room. We would love a preferred view room that we can see the skyliner going by as near as possible. Not sure if some room types are better for this, but would love to know if anyone knows
