The one with the celebrities is there a way to watch it without the dining package

Last time we went to Candlelight Processional, there was a standby line. I honestly don't know how many in the standby line ever made it in to any of the shows, but the line was extremely long and from what I overheard, people were waiting for hours on end. From what I understand, the more popular the narrator, the longer that line will be. We have stood outside the theater to listen and see whatever we can see through the crowds and obstructions. Granted, that was before the dining packages really got popular. We also weren't the only people trying to do this...and CMs still had to keep passing foot traffic in the area flowing.

Personally, I would opt for a dining package if possible. It greatly reduces the stress of getting in, you have to eat anyway, and you're not spending the bulk of your day in a line that may or may not yield positive results.

There’s always YouTube too a lot of streamers will even live stream it. If you are at Epcot I think the best way if you don’t want to wait in the standby line is to just sit in the American courtyard you can hear it well, the choir and narrators don’t do anything but stand there so it’s not like you are missing any choreography. You will also be able to see them process in and out from there. My daughter is singing in it this Friday with Ralph Macchio narrating, I’m so excited. We got the dining package for the garden grill.

How exciting for you!!

Hi, @Wendy1985 ! We have watched the CP from the back of the theater, on the sidewalk between the theater and the USA Pavilion. It's sometimes hard to see, but very easy to hear the narration and the music. While I like the production better from "inside' the theater (of course, it's an open-air theater which is why I used quotes), I don't always want to pay for a package and i refuse to stand in the standby line for hours. Last time we went to the CP with a package, we had to stand in the package line for almost an hour, just to get in. If we do this again, I'll stand outside the theater. The music is beautiful, from wherever you are!

We were just there Sunday with a dining package. So very worthwhile! I loved it. I was talking to people on line who go every year. Apparently the theater fills with dining package people and if there is space, they let in standby. If you have your heart set on going, like I did, get a package.

I videoed the entire candelight performance my daughter was in if you would like to see it. Ralph was a great narrator and he really seemed to be in awe of being a part of the show.
