Hi! I'm going to WDW and Universal Studios in May this year with my husband and my 4-year old daughter. What is the best hotel you can recommend for us for $90-110/night considering convenience, location, amenities, etc. I wanted a Disney hotel but it is a bit expensive and the Disney value hotels (All Star) seem to have small rooms. My first choice so far is the Courtyard by Marriott because it offers early entry, convenient location and complimentary transportion. Other suggestions? Thanks very much!

Have you stayed at All Stars? We stayed their last April and found the convenience of being on site well worth it.
My sister shared a room with her 2 teenage daughters and didn't feel it was cramped. And all our teens loved it there.
We like to use their transportation system and not worry about a car.
Have a great trip no matter where you decide to stay! :)

If you are going through the week (sun night to Thurs night), you might want to try to DVC trade/rent forum on this board. You can get a studio room at Boardwalk Villas that sleeps four for $90/night (US) which is a great steal. This all depends on if DVC folks have points that they are not using and want to sell. I'll be exploring that possibility for our sept 2002 trip!

My vote would go to the All Stars too. We've stayed there several times and have never thought the rooms were too small. I'm sure any 4 year old would love the theming at the All Star Movies. But if you don't want to stay there and/or can't get a reservation for May, I would highly recommend staying at Radisson Resort Parkway. We have stayed there several time as well and absolutely loved it!

All 718 rooms at the resort have just completed a complete remodeling. All rooms include new Custom Crafted Italian Furniture, granite and marble bathrooms, 25" TV with high speed Internet Access, digital movies on demand, in-room video games via television, two line telephones, dataports, safe, hair dryer, minibar, iron and ironing board, coffee maker,1 ½ miles to Walt Disney World, complimentary shuttles to Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld, huge free-formed pool with cascading waterfalls and waterslide, 2nd mid-sized heated pool, Kiddie wading pool, poolside bar that serves killer strawberry margaritas, family style full-service restaurant on site featuring kids eat free program, on-site Pizza Hut, 50's styled Deli/Diner, Sports Lounge with 6' X 11' television wall, game room, exercise workout facility, tennis courts, 2 whirlpools and a sauna.

Their website is http://www.radissonparkway.com

Go2orlando.com is running a May special. I think you have to register with Go2orlando.com and receive their e-mail in order to qualify. At this site it says: "May Special. Reserve ONLINE for May and receive the guaranteed lowest rates anywhere. Rates are from $77.00 (Sun-Thurs)and $87.00 (Fri, Sat)."

Or maybe you can check out the price by calling them direct at 1-800-634-4774 and ask for the Go2orlando.com rate.

Anyways...hope this helps. If you have any questions, just ask away!

There is also a "special" on for some of the moderate resorts at WDW. Depending on the date, you may be able to get a room for $89.00 per night. The rooms are a bit larger than the All Stars.
