That's an impressive line, Ed. the bad stuff blew up just south and east of us yesterday. We just had heavy rain. Stay safe and hopefully the power stays on.

It was a nothing-burger, Jim. The front line had a little lighting.

I'm disappointed, though, because I mowed the grass for the first time last Thursday. Back on the yard care treadmill for a couple months. It's already greening up from the rains.

Just got done with our AM walk. Windy, cloudy, humid, 74 deg, so we broke a sweat. North Central Louisiana. The storms will be late this afternoon/evening.

More bad weather is coming. Parts of the SE have a 5 out of 5 risk of tornadoes. Wed-Sat we are under some kind of alert. It's going to be a busy spring.
We are on the northern edge of what's coming through this afternoon, but still a 3-4 out of 5 on the risk. The biggest risk is south and east of here (in your direction). We are supposed to have rain starting this afternoon and running through Sunday. SE Missouri and up the Ohio river is forecast to get 10-12 inches of rain by Sunday. Flash flood warnings out for south of me. I suspect western TN is in that same warning.

Stay safe and dry! It is Spring...

So far so good. The last cell is coming in a bit. I hope everyone made it through okay.
Same here. Nothing at home, but tornados all around with some significant damage. Closest was about 15 miles.

Now we get to settle in to multiple days of heavy rain.

Fairly quiet today. Have had tornadoes to the south, east and west of us with strong straight line winds. Lots of trees down and power outages. One older warehouse collapsed on the edge of town but no one was there when it happened. Sadly a few people have died as a result of the storms in the area.

I have only lots of branches scattered around our yard. More rain tonight tomorrow night and Saturday morning.

Everyone staying dry?

Rain has ended here after about 5-7 inches around us since Thursday. Basement has a little water in it when the ground gets saturated, but nothing bad. Places south and east have had significant flooding. The medium rivers in the area will be way above flood stage by Tuesday, but that is almost regular seasonal flooding.
