I was glad Rachel won. I really thought Teeny was going to win fire. Had the 3 women went head to head, I truly believe that Teeny and Sue wouldn't have gotten a single vote. Teeny was truly delusional and she really holds a lot of contempt for Sam her weird rant about Sam in school, being popular. Shows where she's coming from. Sue thinking she fooled the cast... come on.. plastic surgery really makes her look old, just look at her crepe arms! Poster child for all those young people who do surgery and injections. This is how plastic ages.

Yeah, I thought Teeny's hatred for Sam was way overboard. When she was talking at the end about having a problem with Sam (or Sam's "type") from Day One, I thought, "This is something you should be hashing out with your therapist."

I didn't see how Teeny or Sue thought they had a prayer of getting even a single vote at the end.

Very true. I left my personal thoughts out of my previous post.

From what I am reading, this season's cast are all friendly with the exception of Rome. He tried to throw Kyle under the bus by hinting that Kyle said something unsavory (which the rest have said is a lie); when he gave a post-boot interview, he rapped the boot order, thereby spoiling the outcome. He only got the Caroline boot order wrong.

He was the one person I thoroughly disliked this season.

I don't think she did. In that article, as well as in her exit interviews, she says that people didn't really care about her age. In the article above, she is quoted as saying,

I really thought my whole game plan from the beginning was to hide my age from the kids. Because if I told them I was really 58 — I knew I was turning 59 — if I made it to the end, they'd already have me in the grave. So I figured if they're not going to really pay attention, I’ll I say I'm in my 40s. Nobody really cared, they just knew I was older. But I didn't want them to know how much older I was.

So I was hoping that they'd be impressed by the fact that as old as I was, I did pretty damn good.

Which is true. For her age, she did pretty damn good. Shoot, she could have been a contestant on the Golden Bachelor, but instead, she was on Survivor. And she most certainly wasn't the weakest on the tribe.

Her age was mentioned very early during introductions. After that, they didn't talk about age. However, her age was something that was repeated to the camera multiple times - likely because of production's prompting.

She hasn't been watching past seasons. It is true that older players do tend to get voted out early, but usually that's when they are not able to help the tribe win challenges and are instead a burden to the tribe. Also older usually own up to it. I don't much agree with it when the player is younger either but it's not as evident as it is when you're older. Her saying at the very end her real age was never going to make the players more impressed because it was already clear she was the eldest of the season It's interesting seeing ageism play out with her calling everyone kids and thinking they would give her a pity win.

She came off so inexperienced, maybe that's why like Jeff was trying to give her points for her learning experiences while on Survivor. But she also came off as immature. Teeny herself focused on her age, I don't remember Sam making such a fuss about that.

Simply happy that Sue did not win. Wish it would have been Sam, but Rachel won so many immunity challenges and had luck finding an idol and steal a vote.

Kyle put out a less than two minute video (saw it on the reddit Survivor sub) stating that Rachel deserved the win, but he wanted to give his friend Sam second place.
