Survivor 48--Who's Watching?

Did you listen to any of Briana's exit interviews? She didn't think that Cedric had time to tell Krissy.

Sai is grating and annoying as heck, but she is being used as a shield to take the focus off of other players.

Too bad Sia doesn't doesn't give awards anymore. This season has a lot of deserving cast members.
I didn't listen to her exit interview. I did listen to On Fire with Jeff. It was a quick turnover but a quick conversation is all it takes to turn everything on its head.

Of course she escapes again. Glad it was Charity since she tried to get my girl out by telling everyone about her idol.

I'm glad Sai didn't make the jury, but I will miss her delusion. Cedrek was probably relieved to be put on the jury. Nice guy but didn't seem to have a direction of his own.

Kyle and Kamilla are playing under the radar; I don't think anyone else is aware of their alliance. I like them both.

Joe and Eva need to be split. Each has a F3 jury story, and they are tight. I like them both, but they are a threat whether as an individual or as an alliance.

Chrissy said the quiet part out loud at tribal; I don't know how that could help her game.

Happy that Sai is finally gone. She has a tone deaf view of the world as in she believes it revolves around her as well as gives her license to just be rude. The way she would talk about what she didn't like for the gameplay in other players it was like a dart she threw on the board for each player and decided others just weren't playing like she wanted them to play. It was that they were too much of a player (Mitch writing her name down several times) or they weren't enough of a player (Stephanie). For me that was the chaotic part to her, that she would decide no one really in the end was playing Survivor to her even though they were.

I think the other players were right that Mitch has a great story but at least at the moment I think Mitch is doing more than just rely on that. He does seem to want to work with players (I've noticed his stutter seems worse than the first episode or two so I'm thinking it's still pretty stressful out there for him despite how he might seem calm enough to other players) but I suspect he's also paying a lot more attention to the other players than people may think so I guess we'll see if all people ever see him as is just a person with a great story that garners sympathy at the end.

Agree with the others having Sai out before the jury is the perfect thing to have happened. Cedrek being on the jury I don't think will be exciting at all but it's better than having the Sai-show be at the forefront of the final jury.

Finally she's gone, and she had no idea!
I think she had an idea but it was just that every time in the past she saw multiple votes for her the end result was she stayed and someone else went home so I think it was more hubris that she felt "yeah I'll get some votes it's no biggie but I'll have the last laugh anyhow" which luckily at tribal it went the way Sai wouldn't have wanted and she was finally voted out.

Chrissy said the quiet part out loud at tribal; I don't know how that could help her game.
Agreed, it was a bit too early IMO for that to be vocalized. Normally Jeff is the one who brings it up most especially when he notices a tribe that gets along too well or there's too strong of an alliance in a tribe so he reminds them hey eventually the votes are not going to be able to be thrown at other people it's going to be each other soon enough.

But I busted out laughing when Sai had this incredulous look on her face when Chrissy was talking about playing with honesty and whatnot. You could tell that Sai felt offended at least slightly as if in her mind she was thinking hey I have been playing this way and I plan to win what are you saying.

But Chrissy is right it's incredibly rare for someone to win without doing some stuff in the end, whether that is a minor lie or omission of some detail or if it's hiding the knowledge of an idol or advantage (which annoyingly doesn't seem to happen often enough these days) til the very end or if it's betraying an alliance last minute, etc. I think sometimes people get too wrapped up in not wanting to be a villain when in reality it's usually pretty clear who are actually those kinds of players.
