Space 220 Lounge or Restaurant?

Is it actual different seating areas, or just that restaurant means prix fix?

Can you still order ala cart restaurant menu items if you're in the lounge?

For the Lounge, it's really just sitting at the bar. You will be facing away from "space" but there is a mirror and you can still enjoy the atmosphere. The menu is limited, but there are some of the appetizer options from the restaurant. The menu is here, but you can get the deviled eggs, calamari, shrimp tacos, and buffalo cauliflower (recommended) that are all on the regular menu. It appears some stuff is only on the lounge menu, like the Space Wings and Short-Rib Sliders.

@2EVacations pp is incorrect on the seating. Multiple trips to the Lounge and I haven't been sat at the bar once. I've always been placed at the tables in front of the bar with my parties of 2-4, so only 1 or 0 people end up directly facing the bar and it's mirror (depending on your party size and table location.)

I was told the bar seating is for Lounge walkups but I haven't verified that.

I've been there several times and all I can remember are two seating levels. One upper and one lower. That is it!

I know exactly where the bathrooms are though.

I recommend the lounge so you have more options food wise. The lower level seating near the windows is the restaurant seating. The lounge seating is the tables on the upper/entry level. Seating at the bar is for walk ups.

Yes, I sat in the upper section as a restaurant guest, it wasn't close to the bar though. I had a nice view of the entire place.

Yes, you can. But you may have to wait a longer time based on availability. I did not request seating at Space 220, but have done several times for the West Wing at Be Our Guest. Keep in mind that BOG has very low demands when compared to Space 220, yet I occasionally still had to wait an additional 40-60 minutes for the preferred area. I didn't want to take the chance with Space.

My favorite lounge view

I’ve eaten in the restaurant but in addition to the lack of flexibility in the prix fixe menu, if you are seated at a table by the screen… see the couple above… your views are actually very limited.

I definitely prefer the lounge and have been fortunate that I can book it nearly every trip.

Ok. I find the lounge’s menu very limited, especially for people who don’t drink, so I guess I didn’t consider that flexible. Thanks.
