Pumpkin, it seems you have not been feeling too great lately? Is it the flu bug or just from working too hard? Hope you feel better soon.
Oh Carole, when winter really hits here, it gets to sunset at 4:30PM! Much too early for darkness. Our daylight is really limited in the winter time which does nothing for holding my appetite back, LOL. It's so easy to watch some thing to TV and eat cookies, cakes, and snacks
I'm so glad to hear that the implant is fitting well. So, all is good for your trip? The knee is better too?
Robbie: I do the same thing lately since my husband isn't able to travel anymore, at least to places like theme parks. So I am taking my son this year to Universal. I also fix him what he loves, but he likes to eat out too,so he will be fine.
Yes, like I said I'm with my son this time. Last year was with my daughter. My granddaughter chimed in that she would love to go on a trip too, However, I have 6 grandkids and 2 +one on the way great grandkids, so I don't think that will happen soon
Kiesha you are such a good person to do all that you do. I know you have fun with the family on all these trips too. Again, thanks for the heads up on the Behind the Screams openings. We are booked and ready
I know you always enjoy Elise visiting. Like you, I don't color my nails either - just too lazy to bother with it anymore.
I can smell that cooking now. Sounds yummy. We had big lunches, so will just snack around tonight.
That is so annoying isn't it! It sounds like you work at a busy cancer center. I worked hospice/home care for a few years and I absolutely loved that job. I do miss it.
We watch the HP movies over and over. I also read the books about twice a year. HP areas are my favorite at Universal and I could spend the day in them.
Yea, another football fan
My 96 y/o Mom and I are football fanatics. We start watching the pregame broadcast at llAM on Sunday, and then games from noon thru to 10pm. Yep that's alot of football. I confess that if the game is a little boring, I will crochet or read while watching
Since I'm in Mn. I am a Mn Vikings fan and hopefully they will finally have a good year this year.
It has been 3 Weeks!!! since my back went out of alignment. 3 weeks. I finally went to the doctor today to see if he could speed things up a bit. I got prednisone for 5 days and a RX for a muscle relaxer. Hopefully they will do the trick. He said that these things usually get better by in 5 to 6 weeks whatever we do for them. I really hope it doesn't go on that long. It is my fault that it is worse because I did something stupid. I was feeling good and hadn't seen my Mom for 3 weeks, so I drove over and took her to the store and out to eat. That was a mistake and I am back to having back pain again. I won't do that again, not til I am well healed.
So, I have read lots of books, watched lots of tv and spent lots of time on the laptop, and almost finished my crocheted top. All I have to do is sew up the sides and I will be done.
We are having a weird hot spell into the 80's for the next 6 days. I want the wonderful 70 and 60's back. The trees are finally starting to turn yellow
Take care everyone,
ruth
