Soda fountain options

Hello all,

I have a question about refillable mugs. My fiancé and I really only drink seltzer and coffee, is it worth getting a mug? Do the soda fountains have seltzer as an option or would we have to go to a bar every time to get that. Thank you for the help!

Yes, seltzer and coffee are both available.

There are two or three outside of Ulu Cafe. There's another refill station near the shave ice stand but can't remember if that's a Freestyle machine or regular fountain.

There are three freestyle machines outside of Ulu, but we found them to be missing a lot of flavors by mid-day. Sprite seemed particularly popular! Usually one of the three machines would have what we wanted, but sometimes we had to try all three. This was the last week of April.

I only drink coffee and seltzer too but got the cup. We were there 8 days though. They had 3 flavors of seltzer, one was to me.
We also had a few days were many of the options were unavailable. I will probably skip it next time and buy a 12 pack of seltzer. They also had seltzer at the island vintage market across the street if you need some variety.

It was AHA and I think blueberry pomegranate and and an orange citrus flavor. Yes the refills are free even coffee and iced tea. Locations are outside Ulu Cafe, outside Lava Shack and to the left of AMA AMA where you pick up mobile orders from off the hook.

They do. You will definitely never go thirsty buying the mug. I am diabetic so I consumed only coffee and seltzer. Saved money on buying coffee for the room and seltzers at Costco.

Wonderful! I drink a gallon of water a day and this will make it so much easier.

My husband is stoked about the sparkling water option as well. We even had a DVC purchase conversation today. The free mug refills put him over the top.

Definitely worth It at Aulani to me I struggle with WDW because how much am I really at the resort. If you had a soda drinker it’s a no brainer for sure.

Pro Tip: Go to the one near the AMA AMA. Gets least traffic and more likely to have what you want as opposed to the other 2 locations that get hit hard and are at the mercy of the poor CM having to constantly refill the flavorings

There’s some great fizzy waters. Blueberry Pomegranite and Lemon Lime. There are also some very low sugar Agua Frescas offered.

When I was there in November, the Freestyle machines were almost always out of carbon and stayed that way for quite some time before anyone bothered to refill them. So, beware.
