That’s a really cool shirt! I’m glad that you were finally able to get one. :flower:

I’ve never used eBay but I know that a lot people who do. Surprisingly they don’t seem to have any problems with the sellers, which was always my biggest concern. I think eBay has come a long way since they first started.

I was on Amazon the other day and the amount of bootleg crap from China was insane. It's worse than eBay IMO
It really is bad on there. Also the seller/app Temu and others like it. They want to price out other companies, then they’ll be the last ones standing. :sad2:

I don't use ebay very often.

I mostly just use it for something that I wanted to buy from a store but its no longer available in the size I want or print I want.
Its usually Disney related items actually haha.
I bought a couple sold out Loungefly products that were not outrageously priced.
And I just bought something extra special a couple weeks ago.
Its my white whale Disney item that you cannot actually purchase.
The purple decorative pillow at POLY. I periodically look to see if anyone has taken one and posted on there and someone finally did.
I know how much you would be charged for incidentals if you did take it so I offered a little less than double and they accepted.
I was a bit concerned to spend that much if there was something seriously wrong with the pillow but when it arrived it was like new and it can finally stop living rent free in my head.

I go through eBay waves. I like to use it for framed pictures (bought several when we moved) and also for stuff my family members collect that are harder to find. I tend to use Buy it Now, but if I really don't care much, I'll participate in auction. In the early 2000s I used it a LOT for smurf figurine auctions.

I sold a lot of handmade baby quilts on ebay back in the late 90s when it first started and I was a SAHM. The system was a lot simpler then. We've bought a few things on ebay as well over the years. DH buys something occassionally on it for his hobbies, but I never go on it anymore.

We (well, technically DH) had an eBay account many years ago, but it was hacked and we had to close it. We've never dared to make another one.

I have purchased maybe 5 things over the years, no auctions. All went well except one, which I posted about here, about a year ago. I would up getting a full refund of several hundred dollars from my Visa card.

We haven't bought or sold anything on EBay in over a decade. Last use was my daughter selling off her college textbooks 10 years ago. My wife used to buy a few out of print used books, and sewing patterns. We just don't buy a lot of stuff anymore from any source.

We frequently buy on eBay, but never do the auctions. We always say we’re going to sell some of our stuff we don’t want anymore on there but we never do. One day, lol

Never used it to buy anything and no interest. Hear about way too many scams/issues from both buyers & sellers. You have no idea if someone is legit until you find out they aren't and then waste a lot of time trying to get things resolved. I only buy from legit companies like Walmart and have NEVER had any issues.

Back before the integrated half.com I used that a lot to buy and sell textbooks. That was great because you could just list everything in a library and it would tell you when something sold - there was nothing else to do, no costs involved until an item sold. Then EBay decided to make you pay for listings and that stopped being such a great way to sell books - so I stopped.
I like EBay best when it functions as it was originally intended - you have a gently used item you don't want anymore, someone else wants it at a great price, everyone wins. It is too much a glorified storefront for most of their listings now, but I will check it occasionally, and I definitely have some items that I need ot get listed.

I used it a lot back when I was actively collecting vintage women's magazines. It was a really good source for them. I used both Buy It Now and auctions, probably auctions more. I haven't bid on or bought anything in years though, since I phased out my collection.

I probably buy too much from ebay! But I can't get to the parks as often as I'd like (can anyone, really?) so it scratches an itch from time to time. Mostly positive experiences, clearly. Generally, the sellers are fans of Disney, too!

I buy a lot of things on eBay and have sold a few things over the years. I used to mostly bid, but these days the "buy it now" seems to make sense most often.
It's been a long time since I sold anything. Now I'm out of the habit and don't know the latest rules and fees for that.
With many transactions, I've only been disappointed or felt misled a couple of times.

I mostly sell on eBay, but I buy too. I have found it to be great for items that are no longer in circulation.

The main thing with eBay is to look at seller feedback. Make sure they have a lot of it and it is overwhelmingly positive. Ebay is very good at protecting the buyer. That is not to say they haven't been very good with me when a few bad apples have tried to rip me off.

I use eBay for selling stuff from my shop that are either special orders that don't get used, or extras (overstock), or just older stuff, I sometimes add my own personal stuff on there to get rid of, but I also buy off of there occasionally, I used to get "vintage" shirts, but now its almost impossible to tell if it is a legitimate shirt, or just a reprint they are passing off as "real".
I have bought too many only to be disappointed at the quality, or legitimacy of the shirt. There is a big difference between original shirt & reprint. :(

Not me but dh buys and sells on eBay a lot. He does auctions and buy it nows.

I occasionally buy stuff on eBay. I do not have the patience to do the actual auctions, I just use the buy it now. What I have found is to put something on your watch list and then usually by the next morning there will be an offer for a little cheaper.

I have sold a few things, but It has been at least 15+ years since I have done that. I also used to do the auction part, but again that was at least 15+ years too (I guess before "buy it now" became more prominent).
