Can someone tell me a size comparison of US and IOA to a Disney park? I'm guessing that they are more on the size of Hollywood Studios?

Well Epcot and AK are huge parks by any standards. IOA is probably just a little smaller than Magic Kingdom. Same with the main Universal park.

Yeah, I'd agree with this.

Keep in mind also that IoA and the Studios are next to each other and can easily be walked between--I suppose much like Disneyland's MK and DCA are next to each other. I assume the OP realizes the four parks at WDW are spread so far apart as to make walking impractical, with the possible exception of Epcot and DHS.

I'm borrowing these quotes from Phamton:

Magic Kingdom - 107 acres
Epcot - 305 acres
Disney's Hollywood Studios - 135 acres
Disney's Animal Kingdom - 410 acres (500 including parking lots)
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon - 56 acres (this may include parking lots)
Disney's Blizzard Beach - 66 acres (this may include parking lots)
Downtown Disney - 120 acres (this may include parking lots)
Pleasure Island - 8 acres
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex - 220 acres

I read this on another site and it looks pretty accurate.

Islands of Adventure is 110 acres, Universal Studios Florida is 125 acres (compared to 107 acres, 300, 154, and 500 acres for the four Disney World parks.)

OP here, we're just trying to get a feel for how far apart things are within each park. So with those numbers...it's fair to assume that distance wise, things are close together like HS and MK. Thanks...

Yeah, but the caveat is that both Universal parks have a lake in the middle of them. So you can't cut across the park as you would in the hub-and-spoke design of WDW. You're mostly going around the wheel.
