OK...here was todays events....
I talked to urgoinagain and her loving DH left the stroller with luggage services at Pop Century at 11pm on 8/25/09. He watched them wheel it into the storage area.
When photolover showed up on the 26th, no stroller. She initally contacted urgoinagain on the 26th about the stroller. urgoinagain gave her the same info she gave me about where it was left so photolover was going to check again with POP. She didn't called urgoinagain so she assumed she found the stroller without a problem on the 26th. Yesterday, 9/2 she contacted urgoinagain that she still hadn't found the stroller...and that is when I was contacted.
Yesterday, no such luck in finding the stroller. I called POP luggage services on three different occassions no sign of #1. I talked to the front desk and still no luck.
This morning, I called Pop Luggage services and nothing. I called the front desk and still nothing. I called Pop lost and found and it hasn't been turned over to her. She was so sweet as she could tell I was getting frantic. She promised that if it did show up in Lost and found she would call me immediately. She said everything must pass through her before going to Central Lost and found so it would definitely be her that would be calling if it showed up in Pop Lost and found.
But the bad news...new policy/adapted policy...if a stroller isn't picked up on the day on the stroller, they SOMETIMES will set them out front and let other POP guest use the stroller as a freebie. So I asked her if that happened, does the guest bring it back to Pop, should I continue to call a couple times a day looking for the stroller. Her answer was no, that it is up to the guest if they want to return it or keep it. OMG! I hope this isn't the truth because that isn't so right on so many levels.
I explained to her that even if photolover's information fell off the stroller, my information was on it incase it was lost at WDW. The only reply I got to that was that was if it did show up to Pop, she would call me...but the CM in LS might not have noticed a small luggage tag.
I've got tomorrow off so I am going to spend the entire day calling each and every resort front desk, luggage/bell services, and each resorts Lost and found. 22 of them times 3....heck I have 66 phone calls to make tomorrow
I'm going to start with CBR, AS Music, and POP. Since urgoinagain was at Music...I'll start there. Then I'm calling CBR...This is just a thought but photolover was staying at CBR. Maybe Pop Luggage services noticed her name, ressie number, arrival date and accidently shipped it to her resort instead of leaving it at Pop. They do have resort to resort shipping for guest...so maybe that happened.
Lastly, I'm not sure who has been my hidden angels but while on the phone today I was told I was the third caller on the stroller and two ppl have already been there and went through LS and Lost & Found. So whoever you are swappers...THANK YOU for trying to help.
