If we are not staying on property, we really don't have an opportunity to rope drop, right?

There will be people in the park when you get there but it may still be beneficial because there will be less people there that early than later in the day. That being said, if you don’t want to rope drop than try to stay til closing. The parks are emptier late in the evening too.

Yes but you will be held in the hub area by the castle until almost regular opening time. The onsite guests and guests with early dining reservations will be able to proceed to the Castle or into tomorrow land. There will be CMs checking guests.

We early entered rope dropped for Epcot to ride guardians and still waited about an hour … likewise we did the same at studios and knocked out RRC, TOT, and Runaway RR in less than 40 minutes

We'll stay until they kick us out for sure. It's our friend's first time in MK (she's been to the other parks). So staying for the end is a must.

Adventureland and Frontierland are not open for EE, so many off-site guests rope drop those at regular opening time. As others have said, the lines (especially for non-headliners) are still pretty short in the 9-10 am hour. If you happen to be coming on a party day, there is a huge advantage to rope dropping at 8 am since most guests will not get to the parks at 7:30 am for EE. (But those days will mean no fireworks for you without a party ticket.)

We are going this Saturday. So I don't think there is a party.

I feel like that is always my recommendation for everyone offsite! I mean, that Jungle Cruise line gets LONG.......
