Returning Work Uniform??

Hi,

Does anyone know or your CP daughter/son know if their uniform must be returned by them in person? Can someone else return it in person or mail it?

It can be mailed. Anyone who ends their employment with costumes on their record automatically gets a restricted rehire. In order to counter this, a letter is sent to these former Cast Members to let them know they have outstanding garments and the letter will provide an address to mail costumes to.

The CP housing has laundry baskets outside of them around departure week, they can also return it by mail as stated above.

We were/are coming down next week for her to work her seasonal hours. But guess what, she just got a letter yesterday saying she was let go because she did not put in time her hours for the summer. She says she did.

She called her manager and he does not know what happened. Meanwhile we have a room booked for nine nights next week and she was all prepared to come down. We though it was odd when they did not schedule her the first four days we are down but then thought - okay Splash Mountain is closed and maybe she can pick up a shift. This really stinks.

They are mailing her a return label. Hubby and I are deciding if we should go down anyway without her now so we don't lose the booking with our DVC points. We probably could have returned it ourselves. Oh and We are fuming too@@@@@@@@
 
Does she have paystubs or copies of her schedule that she can use to prove she completed her seasonal hours as she said she did?

She finished her CP back in 8/2013. She applied and got seasonal. She put in her availability for January and that was that. I think by 1/4 (don't quote me on this) she was supposed to give her summer availability and she did. So since they are saying she did not give her summer availability in time - she is out of the system/let go. Had not worked seasonal yet.

What a crummy situation to get caught up in! If there's a way to sort things out, I hope she can find it!
