We are taking someone who has never been to Disney before in December and I would like to take one of our old magic bands and assign her ticket to it. Is that possible?

Sorry, magic bands cannot be reassigned.

The only exception ever was if someone mistakenly assigned a new unused band to the wrong member of their party, then possibly guest relations may help.

I tried to do this a few years ago after my daughter lost her magic band and was told by guest services it was not possible.

My son who just went to DW with us in March has a magic band. He also had one from way before when he was younger. This coming June, he is going to go to DW with his girl friend. Can his girlfriend use his old magic band and he still uses his last one that he used in March at the same time?

I don't think she could use it fully. I could be wrong, but her park ticket could not be linked to it, as it is assigned to him only. As a room key, I'm sure she could use it.

The standard answer is that once a MB has been assigned to a person, it cannot be changed. I don't think I've ever read of a used MB being reassigned.
