it has been a long time since I have graduated! My son is graduating and we had his senior pictures taken. We received a disk of photos with all the rights to print

In my days we got the prints from the photography studio

Can you tell me where you had yours printed? Good quality.

I printed mine at Walmart and Walgreens. I also did some at the indivudual Kodak picture makers that are in some smaller stores.

I DID have to have a printed copy of the rights on file at both Walmart and Walgreens, and a printed one with me when using the picture maker

I did a photo shoot for my cousin's daughter who is graduating this year (I enjoy photography as a hobby). After researching on some photography forums I belong to, I suggested they order from Mpix. The quality is great and they were able to order a ton of different sizes, including die cut wallets for under $ 60 shipped. Probably could have gotten them cheaper, but there weren't any online codes at the time. I have also heard good things about Adoramapix as well.

I did picture open house invitations and just used snapfish. They were really cheap and the quality wasn't bad. I wasn't looking for the best quality for what I used them for.

Mpix has great quality and our local Costco is amazing. I choose costco most of the time. The issue with the print in store places is that it does have a lot to do with the people who work them- we had issues with our old Costco after the main photo guy left. Once we moved and started going to a new one, their prints are amazing again. Can't beat the price too. Love them.

We just did this for family portraits we had done and put on CD. The photographer wanted $50 a sheet. I told my husband we could do better. We went through Walgreens and did the matte finish which had to be shipped. I ordered on a Saturday and they arrived on Friday. Check out the packages online. One we selected gave us 3 8x10s, 5x7s - do not remember how many, wallets and 20 4x6s for $10. You had to select the same pose for the package. We selected one of our son. We then ordered individual copies of other different poses. This is what we are going to do when he is a senior.

My nephew just gave us a disk of DD17's photos this weekend so I started looking. I uploaded them all to Shutterfly, which is where I usually get prints. We've been going to grad receptions this year and everyone has the wallet size with rounded corners (die-cut) to hand out, but Shutterfly doesn't have that- just rectangular ones you cut apart. I asked my niece who also does photography and orders prints for her customers. She suggested mpix but then also said when I decide how many I want to check with her and see if her wholesale rate will be a better deal.

So I guess another vote for mpix based on a photographer recommendation but I haven't tried it yet. I may still go with Shutterfly for standard prints- maybe we won't bother with die-cut wallets.

Interested to see if there are any other good options for the wallets.

Another vote for Walgreens.. I had headshots printed there and they turned out great. You can print from your phone (or wherever the pics are saved), and it's super easy to find a coupon code for a good deal when you're ready to print.

When I give photo clients digital files (which is rare because I like to control the quality of my photo prints), I always recommend MPIX. So much better than Walmart or the drugstores! I have tested it myself by sending the same digital file to be printed at multiple places. HUGE difference! MPIX prints look the way they are supposed to - every time.

Another vote for mpix. We used them for my DD's HS graduation in 2013. Ordered lots of photos and were very happy with the quality and price.

I like the Sams Club near us. They go a great job, and its very cheap. The nice thing about ordering them local is you get the chance to look at the Pictures before you buy them. If you dont like how they came out, you can just tell them you dont want them. Also you can get them the same day which is nice.
