The cabins specifically. Those sales have been dismissal. The others have been respectable.

I still believe that the cabins and the new Lakeshore Lodge will become part of the same resort plan and one reason why DVD is not concerned about those sales because when they combine them in a few years, it won’t matter. Pure speculation on my part.

I think you’ll see slightly better incentives - BUT it will all be countered by the impending year end price increases across the board. They are coming 100% it’s like clockwork.

I do wonder if we will see one more round of (not great) incentives before a Jan price increase, like we did last year. They used Christmas 2023 as an opportunity to push "the price increase is confirmed and coming at the end of January" in an attempt to drive sales.

100% though, any better incentives should be offset by price increases on Poly and Riv at the very least.

This is 100% accurate regarding the push before the price increases. They use the impending price increase as a way to increase sales - almost like an incentive itself.

An upcoming price increase is a great “incentive” to current sales. People know it might be the last time they see that price. It’s different from a regular incentive that you might assume will be back at some point, but the price won’t go down.

It’s in their best interest to announce it with time.

This is very accurate. Last year after hunting Riv for awhile - Dec incentives came out and price increase was announced w lead time. That window ahead of the price increase made for an appealing offer - much driven by knowing what the price would be post increase. DVC never drops buy in prices.

I have ignored a daily dvc afternoon sales call. My guide is in Hawaii and can't sell me Poly right now, so another guide is calling every day. She knows I want 150 points but I am not ready to pull the trigger. I think the daily call is a sign they didn't get the sales they hoped for.

I don't expect much change to incentives. I do agree the price may go up shortly, too.

I'm hoping for a very slightly better Poly incentive....even if it's a few dollars more. I specifically setup my final payment and closing with my guide to be after the new incentives are released just incase there is any year end 2024 surprises.

I do think Cabins will need a little bit better of an incentive. Unless as someone else pointed out disney doesn't care about selling cabins right now as they will be added onto the new reflections project.

I did the same, our closing date is 2/3 because I just wanted to be sure I got the best deal with the fall incentives before committing. I’m excited to hear about winter incentives, but I’m also not holding my breath. Guess we’ll see later this week!

I was coming back to this thread to find if new incentives have been released, but sounds like tomorrow morning we will know.

Here's hoping for a few extra dollars on my Poly contract set to close towards the end of this week LOL
