Am a long-term BWV owner with 2 memberships and am finding booking across 2 memberships to be a headache! I’ve had one membership for over 20 years, and the 2nd one was created a couple of years ago (same use year, different ownership titling) . I’m beginning to think I should just transfer all the points from one of the memberships into the other for ease of use every year, assuming this is doable? Any downside?
For clarity, here’s the breakdown:
Membership #1:
BWV - several hundred points (bought in late 90’s)
VGF - 100pts (added a few years ago)
Membership #2:
VGF - 150 pts (bought a few years ago, different titling)
I almost always book at home resort 11 months out for both resorts. I purchased VGF points primarily for the newer Resort Studios, as like the fact that I can book 2 rooms and put in a request for them to be adjoining rooms. The problem is I usually have to use points out of both memberships to book both rooms, and given that they are different memberships have to allocate points carefully and given that they are different memberships, they can’t be combined, etc.
So I’m thinking if I were to just move the 150 VGF points from #2 into my original membership (#1) each year I could then mix & match all the VGF points and not go through some of the problems I’m having. Meaning that I’d have 250 VGF points in one bucket. Does this make sense and any reason I shouldn’t be doing so?
Just trying to simplify things!
Many thanks
