Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

We are outliers, but we are fans of LLMP, even on slower days.
Even at Epcot, if SE, Nemo, Soarin, Land , Figment, and Mission space are 20 minutes, you save 2 hours. Plus 45-an hour for Remy and Frozen. The same for TT when back and not new. It saves at least 3 hours in our experience,
It greatly depends on when you visit but we find there are few waits in Epcot before the merge points.

Some are waits for sure and LLMP would save time (Frozen, Remy if not using single rider).

But, when I think of our waits in line, we rarely wait for long (if at all) before the merge for Nemo, Mission Space, Figment, Living with the Land and often even for Spaceship Earth (other than at rope drop) or even Soarin.

I think many think a wait time of 20 mins=no wait for LLs but LLs still have to wait after the merge too. (I’m looking at you Soarin.)

Just something else to think about when deciding if the price of LLMP is worth it for your family.

During the prebooking period, I'm aware that LLMP arrival windows typically are not allowed to overlap with some weird exceptions. My question is does the system allow LLSP arrival windows to overlap LLMP arrival windows during the prebooking period? I know that day of, arrival windows can freely overlap like the old G+ system but I'm curious about the days before. Thanks!
Replying to myself with the answer to my own question. Turns out that LLMP and SP arrival windows CAN overlap during the pre-booking period. I was able to overlap mine by 40 minutes.

Could you define your 40 minute overlap with an example. We had some confusion recently as to how one defines a 40 minute over lap. My view of a 40 minute over lap would be 9-10 with an LLSP that is 9:20 - 10:20.

And when were you able to get this overlap? Examples: your initial 5 minute hold, after initial purchase or maybe 3 days later...

Sure! There was an unfortunate typo in my post that I've since fixed. SP and MP windows CAN indeed overlap. In my case, these LLs are for Saturday January 18th.

I have an 8:20-9:20 Navi River Journey LLMP and originally had 12:00-1:00 Flight of Passage LLSP. Today, while refreshing the app, an 8:00-9:00 FOP SP popped up. I immediately tapped on the app and soon as I did, it secured that time slot on the "5-minute" confirmation screen. From there it reserved the new time, no issues.

Just to verify - we can book LLMP & LLSP 7 days out from out from check-in day(staying at a Disney resort). Our check-in is on the 16th but first park day is the 18th.

Thanks!

Yes 1 week (7) days before the 16th if the 16th is a Sunday then you can book your LLMP and/or LLSP on Sunday the 9th.

Has anyone tried booking LLMP from a cruise (Treasure)? WiFi was terrible on our previous cruise (Fantasy), but this time it’s Eastern Carribean.
I did not pay for any internet packages on my cruise (Jan 11-18 on Treasure), only had the DCL wi-fi. I was able to modify existing LLMP a few times, but was never able to create a new one (always got stuck in the loading circle), couldn’t do LLSP either. I could view my plans but most days I could not modify - I wanted to cancel a dining reservation - just once I think it was CC day I was able to cancel it, but still couldn’t do LLMP. I could only use app, the WDW web site did not load in safari.

We had WiFi unlimited package on 2 phones (DH and our teen) on the cruise and on pirates night it would glitch out and we couldn’t even text our DD who was with her younger brother. There was a sudden downpour (thankfully after the fireworks) and everyone scattered. We ended up going to our room and finding a notepad to write on and put it outside our door (had a free pirate magnet from our previous cruise that came in handy). We had discussed where we were going for dinner prior to the fireworks, so she headed there when she couldn’t locate us or use her phone.

In summary: I don’t trust the WiFi but we will book LLSP before boarding the cruise (Sat morning at the Hyatt - talk about adding stress). Hopefully it’s smooth sailing after that (pun intended).

What time can I go on and do my LLs?

Thank you.

@CarolynFH covered the time on Sunday, January 26th when you are eligible to purchase LLMP and/or LLSP.

As a reminder please double check that everyone you want to book are part of your Travel Group in MDE and that everyone has either a valid ticket or a date is showing when they are eligible. You can validate your Travel Group by trying to purchase a LLMP and/or LLSP today or any time before Sunday. Pick a park, a LLMP and hit the Continue button. MDE will validate your Travel Group.

You should also double check that your Payment method(s) (you may have up to 6), are current, and if possible to have more than 1 listed in your MDE account profile.

Thank you so much! This is so helpful. I'm actually in a meeting LOL, but will do this when I get back to my office. Thank you so much!

I have a question. I just tried this and only see my mom and me (we are APs). My daughter and grandson have date base tickets so is this why I did not see them be an option for me to purchase the LL for them today?

When is your visit planned and are your daughter and grandson both listed on your reservation? Also do they have date based tickets already listed or are they just part of an upcoming package?

Thank you.
I'm DVC and AP (so is my mom).
My dd and grandson have date based tickets, starting on February 5 (I arrive on February 2).
We are all listed on my ressie.

That's good they will show up once you get closer to the 7 day window as long as their tickets are linked in MDE (assigned to their names). Are they listed under your MDE Account or does your daughter have her own MDE account?

And just a reminder that you, and your mom still need to make park reservations for each park day that is not a "Good to Go" day for AP ticket holders.

Yes, we are all on my ressie and no one but I am allowed to have a MDE LOL
My dd is 31 and an attorney in big law but not allowed to have her own MDE LOL Maybe one day when she and her dh/kids travel without me but until that day, it's a big NO lol My dh has no clue either LOL

We have our AP park ressies and I will just watch and make sure all set for Sunday. My card is on file and we are linked.
Thank you SO SO much for your help.
If you think of anything else, please tell me LOL THANK YOU.

Hi.
Is there a reason why no one in my party looks like they are eligible for me to purchase LLs.
Is this because my 7 day window opens on Sunday (for February 2)?
Everyone is on my ressie (I'm DVC). Two people (one of which is me), have APs and park ressies, the other two people, my
dd and grandson, have date based tickets. I arrive on February 2 but my dd and dgs do not arrive until February 5.
Will everyone open up for me on Sunday? I have credit card(s) saved and ready to go.

Thank you so much!
