Pets in Disney Springs

I remember reading a while ago that you can take pets to DTD (and have seen people walking their dogs there). Is this still the same now that it is Disney Springs?

No, pets are not allowed at Disney Springs.

DTD used to have a special day (maybe it was even a whole weekend) for people to bring their dogs. Haven't seen that lately. You may have seen photos of that, or you may have seen service dogs, which are allowed by law.

It was a couple of years ago I asked a question about pets and people told me that you can take pets into Disney Springs. I had just hoped to get a pic of her with the christmas statue behind Disney's days of Xmas and maybe in front of the World of Disney where there are statues and then leave.

I had seen something on All Ears where they were able to get pics of their dog outside of Animal Kingdom Park when a couple of characters were out front before security and in front of the sign. Does anyone know if this is still possible? I would love to be able to just get a couple of quick pics with her then take her back to where we we are staying.

I've never seen any pets. I've seen quite a few dogs that seem to be people's service dogs (though sometimes I really wonder about some of them....esp as they don't have working gear on) in the parks and at Disney Springs.

We definitely saw a couple of dogs in Disney Springs last march that didn't have vests. My husband and I had conversations about it each time we did. I've seen dogs in the parks that clearly weren't service dogs who did have a vest just by the way they acted. They didn't bother me though cause I love dogs. I know some people buy vests and take their dogs in but I would never be able to do that (as much as I would kill for a pic in front of the castle with her lol)
