For our dining reviews, I asked each person in my family to come up with one word to describe their “overall experience” at each restaurant. And as you will see, each of them gave their own ratings on food, atmosphere & service. Hope you enjoy our reviews! Any questions? Ask away!

Last year, when I saw The Crystal Palace for the very first time, I knew I wanted to eat there. It looked so inviting & cheerful. I am happy to say I was not disappointed! It is so bright and cheerful yet relaxing at the same time. A perfect way to start your day at Magic Kingdom!

KID’S STATION: Breakfast Pizza, pancakes & Pooh, Tigger & Piglet waffles

COLD STATION: Granola, dried fruits, cereal, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, strawberries & whipped cream, bagels, muffins, donuts, pastries, peanut butter, jellies & marmalades, whipped butter, cream cheese, smoked salmon

HOT STATION: Made-to-order omelettes, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, cheesy breakfast potatoes, hash browns, sausage, bacon, corned beef hash & cornbread casserole, vegetable frittata, breakfast lasagna (fruit & custard), puffed french toast, pancakes, grits, oatmeal, sausage gravy & biscuits

Of course, adults can eat from the kid’s station and vice versa.

Coffee, tea and juice are brought to your table. I was quite impressed with the variety of food they offered! The eggs, frittata & bacon were cooked perfectly. Everyone who had the puffed French toast said it was fantastic! I really enjoyed the granola with dried fruit. Everything was so fresh! I must say though, you really need a sweet tooth for that breakfast lasagna! With a party of nine, I am pretty sure we tried everything at least once. There was not one complaint to be heard.

Our reservation was for 8:05 am. Within 5 minutes we were very warmly welcomed and seated-and happy to say all together. I was very pleasantly surprised at how relaxing our breakfast was, especially considering it was a character meal! We never felt rushed in any way. Our server was Michael Todd. Or was it Todd Michael? He was wonderful! :thumbsup2 He let us know when to stay seated as the characters would be coming out and he was very pleasant to chat with. Juice & hot coffee as well as cream & sugar were always at hand-we never had to ask for anything. The table was always cleared. Another cast member spent a nice bit of time chatting with us-having both Yankee and Red Sox caps at one table started many a conversation!

CHARACTERS
Pooh, Eeorye, Tigger & Piglet-they were all awesome and quite the lively crew! They all spent a nice bit of time at our table and a couple of them came back twice. They were very patient with us-with 3 cameras and 5 autograph books! And that Piglet! Quite the little flirt! pooh:

TOTAL BILL: $169.22 if we had paid OOP

Would I go back? Absolutely! Next time, I think I would like to go for lunch or dinner. Don’t get me wrong, I loved breakfast! Yet there are just so many dining experiences to choose from at Disney!

Thanks for the reveiw! We ate lunch there and loved it! I love the cheery feel as well.

Glad you had a great experience!

This is a "must do" for DS (10) on every trip. I think the food is very good, with several selections, the service has always been great (4 visits there) and the character interaction very good.

Great review! We have a breakfast ADR there and we also have a dinner ADR there a few days later.

I had the same feeling when I was there in Feb. I don't know how I missed it the past few times when I was there, then I saw it on my last trip and I thought that I had to try it on my next trip! Well, here I am going in 6 days and day 2 we are going to the Crystal Palace at 9:20a!! YAHOO!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks for your wonderful review!

We will also be trying CP for the first time this trip and looking foward to it. Thanks for the review!

Thanks so much for your wonderful review and letting us all know what exactly is on the buffet. I have been trying to find a list of all the foods for months now!

We are trying CP for breakfast for the first time next month and am looking forward to it!

thanks for the review! we're looking forward to our ADR there in January :)

This is our very favorite WDW breakfast. :thumbsup2 I could live off the cheesy potatoes and puffed french toast. The strawberries and cream are lovely too! Now I am going to drag myself downstairs sadly and have some toast for breakfast.

I know that feeling all too well since coming back from Disney. Disney Delivery....hmmmm..now THAT phone number would replace the local pizza joint in a heartbeat. :rotfl:

Thanks for the review, we've done the breakfast twice and enjoyed it. Next trip we're trying lunch! :woohoo:
