Evenin' y'all. I was doing some research about storing my RV down in Orlando near the Fort and wanted to share the latest info I had found since it looked like we didn't have a thread on this recently.

There are numerous locations with outdoor storage but indoor storage that can accommodate a larger rig comes at a premium. I was going to go ahead and store mine down there after this upcoming trip but there's really no weekend availability at the Fort through the end of the year so it really didn't make sense for us right now but I did want to share what I had found in case anyone was looking for it. Both of the ones below were about 20 mins away from the Fort.

Boat RV Auto Storage of West Orange
Their outdoor storage is $3.00 per foot in overall length, Tax is 6.5%
Example: 33'= $99.00 tax= $6.44 Total monthly $105.44
Their indoor storage is $7.75 per foot in overall length, Tax is 6.5% Example:
33'= $255.75 tax= $16.62 Total monthly $272.37

Orlando Indoor Auto Boat Storage
Their indoor storage was about $8.50 a foot (My 33' was going to be $280.) With the extra cost though they wash your rig when you bring it back and pre-trip. They pull it out for you, if it's a motorhome they make sure it cranks.

If you google their names you can find the contact info. Hope this helps someone, just didn't want my research to go in vain. We're looking to book our anniversary, Thanksgiving, and Christmas next year so we may do it a few months next year just to keep the miles off our already old rig.

Thousand Trails in Clermont also has storage. I know some people who use them. I think it's a bit cheaper.

Thanks so much for posting this, was just thinking we may want to do this sometime....question, when you inquired did it sound like they had a lot of availability at the time, or waiting list? I am wondering about the outside storage.
Stacyrhood - what is the name of the one in celebration? Secure? Any info would be awesome...
Thanks so much!

I live on the east side of Orlando and we store our 40' fifth wheel there for $64 a month but was just told the price is going up to $75 but still a great deal. This is outside storage. The storage lot is in Christmas about 1 hour from Disney on highway 50. Saying that if you come down on I-95 it might work for some people so you don't have to go down I-4. They just did a big lane shift on I-4 and narrowed the lanes so all be careful if you are coming into Disney that way.

Thanks Ryan

Very secure, it is called uncle bob's storage. We have had our camper there for 2 years now.

We've been storing our mh in Florida during the winter for about 8 years. We've always looked for storage near the airports (first Orlando International, then Sanford and now Tampa) and have paid around $30-$65/month for secure outdoor storage.
