*** Official Jollywood Nights 2024 ***

I attended opening night and last night's party (11/16). Despite the opening night being sold out and this last night not, it was shocking how much more crowded it felt last night! My cynical view is that they let fewer people in the same night the bloggers and vloggers attend to make things appear smooth and carefree. Everywhere we tried to go had a 30+ wait (food locations excluded, those were walk up or 5 min wait). The character lines moved so much slower and some CMs gave poor advice (like telling people to wait on the side for Scrooge instead of getting in line so when he switched with Clarice, they wouldn't be at the back of the line 😐). Comparatively it was not as fun, but Jazzy Nights at the Hollywood Brown Derby was pretty good. Loved the music and atmosphere, food and drink just ok.
Were the ride waits 30+ too?

I wonder how much it being a weekend night makes a difference. There are a couple of separate threads on this forum about the 13th, having short character and ride lines.

We’re going to the last party and doing glam Star Wars. My 16 year old daughter is excited for a sequin black dress and red high tops as Darth Vader. I don’t know that glam and Chewbacca have ever been in the same description but I’m going to try my best!

Thanks for sharing. We’re going next week and this is not what I was hoping to hear, but much better to be prepared for the worst and beat expectations. It still sounds shorter than M&G waits at MVMCP. We don’t have too many “must meet” characters but I would like to catch the shows. Did you see Glisten? Was it easy to get a spot around the rink?

I apologize if this has been asked before, but are the specialty food items the only food available after 7:30PM in the parks? Might swing by Docking Bay 7 during mix-in if so because the only food that looks appetizing to me is at HBD and we couldn't get an ADR at a reasonable time.

Oga's Cantina has some new food items we'd like to try - can we get in there pretty easy during party and do they have regular menu?

I feel bad, we did have fun... it was just so different compared to the 1st night. Definitely not an issue you will have!

M&G's vary. Some are shorter, some are the same as MVMCP. Was there a character in particular? Just make sure you rope drop your most important character meeting around 7pm, that helps. And if you plan to meet someone who alternates with another character, still get in the same line, maybe 10 minutes before the switchover. And sometimes they start late (Scrooge and Lotso were at least 10 min late).

As far as Glisten goes, if you want to stand the whole show, get there about 10 to 15 min early. If you don't mind sitting on the ground, you can show up a few min before the show.

Don’t feel bad— you still made it sound better than crowds at the MK party!

The one we are most excited about is Santa Duffy, but Tom Bricker suggested his line starts crazy long and gets better throughout the night.

I will keep this in mind, this was the recommendation for OBB as well.

Do you mean vice-versa? I would have assumed you need to get there earlier to sit than stand.

With so many people saying Oga’s has been available at walk up, I’m considering canceling my 6:30pm reservation and going later.

For those without day tickets, what are your plans from 6-7pm?

Fantasmic is my absolute favorite show at Disney. I really want to see it but I'm not sure if I want to give up that much time to see the 6:30 show. So it's either Fantasmic or ToT and RnR for me and DD since DBF and DGS7 won't ride those. And then we can do the rest of the party as a group.

So to answer you question...dunno! lol
