***Official April 2025 Thread***

How is everyone doing with their dining reservations? We've got just about everything we wanted. For us, so much depends on the park hours. Right now, all of the parks are listed as closing by 9 pm which is a shorter day than we are used to.
Got a Hoop-de-do and a Space 220 on the books!
We will be there 04/16. Bay Lake Tower booked, butI am considering a change.

Did you book any reservations yesterday?
Yes! I got everything I wanted as well and at times that work for my group. We have:
Hollywood and Vine - Breakfast
Teppan Edo - Dinner
Tusker House - Breakfast
Storybook Dining - Dinner
Crystal Palace - Breakfast
Be Our Guest - Dinner
Garden Grill - Breakfast
San Angel - Dinner
Ohana - Breakfast
1900 Park Fare - Dinner

I like to do a late breakfast with the kids so they can see the characters and we don't wait in line to see them. I also like to sit down and have an actual dinner instead of QS (just my own preference). Now, let's see how well this holds up with LLSP selections . I sort of wish we could just book everything all at once and be done with it TBH (even let's say 14 days out for EVERYTHING, then the plan is actually set as well as it can be before the actual park days).

Just booked a last minute trip to bid farewell to Jellyrolls, 4/11-4/14. I was surprised to see so much availability for reservations??? Hopefully that means it will slow(ish).

I am past ready for our short trip, my work days are just dragging by. :crazy2:

I have done everything I can think of to prepare for my trip. My ADR's are booked, my spreadsheet is done, nail art is planned, I have all the matching t-shirts we need, a super cute Muppets lounge fly mini backpack, and sew-on patches to make myself a pair of Muppets denim capris.

I might lay out a suitcase in our spare room and start packing. Is it too soon? LOL

I start throwing things into a suitcase/carry on several weeks in advance. We have a cruise before we check in and it’s much more complicated to pack - pirates night, formal night (plus extra shoes), park bands/chargers etc. We do plan on doing laundry on one of the sea days. Our WDW check night we may go to Blizzard beach (free; if not too tired) followed by MK (Epcot too crowded;
booths have long waits on Sundays). Check out day we have Topolinos at 11:30 am and a late flight.

Our kids have allergies and the most frustrating thing recently (had to qualify that) was refilling their AuviQs. After a month and a half I finally get two and they expire in Nov of this year!! I had to travel 20 mins to a different pharmacy location after asking them every week as instructed. These are not even on a back order list and I have to do this again in 6 months (they aren’t allowed in school without this medication).

Haha! I was just thinking this morning that I could start setting aside things we won't be wearing/using between now and our trip (which starts later than yours on 4/21)...I too have done everything I can think of, including changing my mind several times about ADRs...lol

I am starting to pack tonight, at least that won't cost me any more money!

Pirate Night was my favorite! We had a group of 10 of us so I bought some piratey stuff from Oriental Trading, I had the best time handing out the extras to random kiddos that night!

I am so sorry you are struggling with your kiddos' prescriptions, that is a hassle! I taught high school years ago and had a student with an extreme peanut allergy. She was an absolute sweetie and I was on high alert when she was in my classroom.

Pirates night was our favorite as well. This past year they didn’t have a photopass photographer (maybe due to rain that started after fireworks). We asked someone to take pictures before crowds arrived. Our son did the pirate makeover.l as well

Where is the thread to let people know you are going to cancel reservations in case they want them? I thought I bookmarked it, but I can't find it. :magnify:
