We are thinking about a quick trip in November to check out the new park and of course do the other parks as well.

Any guesses as to how crazy it will be? We hope to have express passes for the 2 original parks but do you think Epic will be a madhouse?

I'm really hoping that the traditionally quieter parts of Nov/Dec (ie, not holidays) will be a sweet spot for Epic this year. In 2026, they'll offer tickets with multiday access & likely APs including Epic.

Lot fewer locals will spring for one day several times than waiting for the AP.

My thought/hope is that most people will either go right away, combine with HHN trips, or hold off for multiple days in 2026.

Time will tell.

what weeks do you consider the quieter parts of November? I ask because we have a trip planned this November for the 1st week of November.

I have been to Universal that week several times in the last 5 years, and it has been "slow." Even though it hits Jersey week the crowds and wait times have overall been very manageable.

For these purposes, I mostly meant not Thanksgiving & not the last 2 weeks of Dec. I'm planning to hit one day at Epic Dec 9th. It was a reasonable cost with the AP single day ticket discount, so even if we can't do everything we should be able to do a bunch and explore a lot. Maybe I'm just rationalizing to myself about the flow of the crowds... but I do see a lot of people saying they're going right away, they're going during HHN, or they're waiting until multi-day Epic options come out (2026).
