NEW RFID Disney Parks Maingates

Tigger you wont get the extra entrance till that dependant is over the age of three and needs a ticket for entry. We had this same issue with our silver pass and our complementary tickets. When my daughter turned three we got the extra entrance. You can try to call and get it. We got different answers like 3 times and got an extra comp pass once but that was all they would do.

That's what I had thought too until we received a new blue main gate a month or so ago that is for 'me plus 4'.

My daughter is under 3 and gets comps. She was a spring baby & did not get any that summer but starting with the winter ones that year she always has. I was actually surprised when she started getting them because I never did anything (other than add her as a dependent) and I did not expect any before she turned three.
As far as silver pass, ours never went up from +3. I didn't think it moved up to +4 if you only have one child so I've never questioned it. The new next gen one doesn't even have a number on it, it just says "admit passholder" and underneath that "may admit guests (depending on location)." Maybe so they don't have to send out a new one if we do get an extra admit when she turns three or if we end up having more kids?

Yeah I didn't really understand it either. We got comps for her the first round and then they took them away. We made a bunch of calls and emails the department and the end result was they said we would not be getting any more till she was 3. I was so mad.

We also received comps for our twins after we added them before they turned 3. Our main gate stayed at +3 until this latest addition which made us a family of 5.

Now I feel like I was ripped off for 3 years. Oh well what are you gonna do. Maybe it has something to do with work locations? I'm espn and not Disney fl.

I received my MEP a few days ago. I'd like to be able to link it to MDE since I'll be taking my nephews in a few weeks and I want to try to get FP+ with our magic bands. Can anyone tell me how/if I should do this?

At this point in time, it is not recommended that you link your MEP to your My Disney Experience account.

Cast MEP & Guest Passes will not be eligible for FP+ until next year (2014). Cast will be mailed a complimentary MB for the purpose of linking their MEP.

Im currently in CA and just used the MB on my past visit. Anyways thats has nothing to do with just if anyone had questions let me know.

But where SW did you see it says that you shouldn't link you MEP with MDE? Just curious as i have not read everything but might miss it even if i do

My desk at work is right next to part of the team that supports pieces of the MyMagic+ software.
