I have had some problems in the past with the new cardboard cards, as in scratching off the security cover. If not gently done it can damage the card and you can not read the number. Any chance I get now I keep the plastic cards just in case I need to transfer a balance and have a card that can take a bit more ware and tear.

Yup! Plastic are my only keepers, the cardboard are transfer and dump.

You can only checkout 1 card at a time not sure if you will be able to purchase a second one or not

Last year the limit per day was 3. But I was able to do them multiple days with the same account.

AMEX doesnt have to be on transaction. it can be multiple
