Hotels(dot)com used a similar tactic before they got bought by Expedia. You'd get an extra 10% off when reserving through the app. So I'd install in, make the reservation, then uninstall

Costco has Inkind $100 egift cards for $59.99.
I have never used Inkind GC’s before so I am not sure how they work. Does anyone have any info on their ease of use?

The Planet Hollywood at DS is listed as a partner (we have a reservation there next week).

You load them to the app. When redeeming at the restaurant, sometimes there is an inkind check number on your check, other times you have to ask the waiter for it. Select the venue on the app, type in your check number, pay it.

At least when it comes to the other credit I've gotten on the app, it can be used to pay bill + tax but gratuity is taken from a linked credit card. I'm unsure if that's the case when using gift cards, though.

Last year it wasn't app based and it was a limit of two.

We were able to max out two credit cards last year on costco Disney. Paid for dues for two years and passes for the family. That was a great Xmas gift.

Still no info on what the gift card price or limits will be. All I know is that you need to have the app to purchase.

On another completely unrelated note, whenever I'm typing on here and the ad area on the right side bar changes, my cursor freezes and I can't type until the ad changes again. Anyone else have that issue?

I have either that or a similar issue that it freezes up and I can't do anything for a few seconds. I haven't noticed if it's tied into the ad or not. I'll have to keep a look at it.

I believe the $45 for a $50 card was a separate deal as it did not require you have a paid BB Membership, it was open to anybody. For that deal you could purchase more if you had a free BB business account. I was able to get 9 each day per account and it was active for about 3 days IIRC.

Yes, that's the one I was talking about. Nine per day with a business account. I didn't realize it was separate from the one projected for tomorrow. I must've have missed that last year.

Apparently my local CVS has been sitting on DGC for a minute. Went and used my Chase offer yesterday (tracked with Rakuten in store, which was a nice surprise) and they had the old Frozen Gang cards that are real plastic and only a 4 digit EAN. Can't remember the last time I've seen one of those in store, but glad to have another plastic card instead of the darn cardboard that seem to be taking over.

I have had some problems in the past with the new cardboard cards, as in scratching off the security cover. If not gently done it can damage the card and you can not read the number. Any chance I get now I keep the plastic cards just in case I need to transfer a balance and have a card that can take a bit more ware and tear.

Their drops typically start at 12PM Eastern. They have recently been doing multiple drops per day like on Monday, and those seemed to start at 12PM Eastern and then had a new one every two hours.

I think the Disney card is the only one for today, so I would expect it around 12PM Eastern again. If you have the BB App (which you need anyway), you can hit the bell next to the deal and they send a push notification about 30 minutes before.

No you need the Best Buy app. Then it's under drops.

At least on iOS it used to have a Drops button at the bottom. Now you have to click "Discover" then scroll down to find the Drops. You may also see "Drops" at the top next to Gift Cards, Holiday Deals, etc.

Can we put cards in our cart already and it reflect the drop price?

Also just a reminder there are AMEX offers on some cards for Best Buy and they also use PayPal to get 5% from Freedom or Freedom Flex
