I would love to know the rationale too. I'm torn about purchasing. It turns out to be a 12% savings for me if I pay with my RedCard but I have quite a bit tied up in giftcards already. We do need to renew DH's AP in March and will be going to WDW for 33 days in April so I think we probably will be able to use whatever I get. I may hold off for better deals but not sure...

I also don't consider 10% in target rewards worth a full 10% since they can only be used on goods (not gift cards) and almost everything that Target sells is more expensive than Walmart or other stores.

They had them last year in December. If I remember correctly, they were 10% off.

I looked in the old thread and it seems the first "sighting" of the Costco Disney gift card offer was on December 7th. While there was a banner on the Costco page that day, it seems the offer wasn't actually accessible until the 8th or 9th. If they follow the pattern of last year, we have a few weeks to wait. Fingers crossed they do this agian!

I like to get Landry cards at sams club for rainforest, yak n yeti and T. rex and then layer in my annual pass discount when dining. Looking to see if I can do the same for Patina.

Yes, it was email cards for me. I also did an in store purchase last night for physical cards and that has not tracked either (although it says in store purchases can take up to 24 hours to post).

Those are GOALS 33 days... sigh. The good news is the gift cards don't expire and every little bit helps. I use them for everything and with Disney Math, an extra 10-12% savings is always appreciated!

I have a Red Card that's acts as a debit card that pulls from my checking account. I just bought 3 x $125 (needed 3 x 120 to get $40) and it posted right away. I like the guaranteed 5% from the Red Card plus the 10%+ in Target Circle dollars + 2% I have been getting posted on RMN. Lately it's my best bet.

I don't remember a Black Friday deal last year (might have missed it) but about a 10 days to a week before Christmas for about 3 days they had the $50 DGC's for $45. If you have a BB Business acct you could get up to 9 a day for those 3 days.

I feel like all the big warehouses are taking turns with their discount DGCs lol Sam’s Club was a couple weeks ago, BJ’sis having theirs now and Costco will likely follow in a couple weeks

Used it twice already to reload Amazon account for $50 and received the 500 points twice. Effectively 10% instead of the 5% from the prime card works for me!
