NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More

If you are near a Meijer, they are offering an mPerks deal of 15,000 points when you spend $50 or more on a Home Delivery or Pickup order. This deal goes through November 30. You don't have to 'clip' anything; it tracks automatically through your mPerks membership. Also, in the case of a Pickup order, I think the no-fee minimum is still $35 so there should be no additional fee of any sort if you are picking up. (Never having done Home Delivery, I know nothing about it.) The usual suspects are excluded from the purchase total, including all prepaid and gift cards. The deal limit is 15,000 points so you can only do it once.
Where did you happen to see this? I do not have that offer.

I have been using those paper cards for a while now, and so far they have all swiped fine. I think the idea is they are much more secure, as they are able to be glued into the package better, making it much harder for the crooks to take them out and put them back in.
Good to know. It is weird looking at some of them, the whole side is white instead of yellow, i guess from gluing paper?

Except they glued them so much they look like they have been tampered with already. The left edge peeled the yellow paper off with the first digit of the card number ( which is always a '4' for Visa cards, as an FYI to everyone) and the clerk had to manhandle them to get the strip off to scan them because the glue was on the barcode. It was a good thing I actually wasn't giving them as a gift! They look terrible.

The MCGC I picked up don't appear to have been treated the same, so I'm hoping it was a terrible packaging run on the VGC line. My VGC really remind me of all the pictures posted of how-to-tell-if-your-GC-have-been-tampered-with over the years. I have successfully used all of the Visas so they weren't. Just not what I expected. Wish I could figure out how to get them out of the package without peeling off the front.

Here's my Target Circle Bonus: Shop 2 times with your Target Circle Card on qualifying purchases of $100 or more to earn $15 in Target Circle Rewards.

I've been hoping Costco would offer 10% off Disney gift cards like they did last year, but I've seen nothing yet.

Here's mine. It is terrible! Don't sign up for Circle 360.

If anyone is interested; there’s some freebies out there for veterans today. The ones near us that my husband is grabbing are Texas Roadhouse (ours isn’t open for lunch so they give a coupon to come back), Freddy’s gives a coupon for free meal, our local Chick-fil-A has free sandwich, and little Caesar’s has free lunch combo. I know there are more out there, these are just the ones we are getting! ETA - also Starbucks has a free 12oz cup of coffee (just regular or decaf)

I saw it on the website, under mPerks--Earn--Available. I just took another look and it's still there. Possibly you have to sign in to your mPerks account in order to see it.

Just for anyone contemplating the Target Circle deal, I placed one order for a $100 DGC and a $50 DGC and it did not count towards the four required purchases. Same bs as last time. Guest services told me they’d make ‘an exception,’ but I’d have to wait the 21 days for the promotion to expire. Uggh.

My DP for the target circle bonus: 4 purchases of $110 to get $40.

I placed two separate orders of one $100 DCG and one $25 DGC in each order. They were all delivered quickly, and I received immediate notification that two of my four steps had been completed 👍🏼

See, I’d much rather get spend $60 one time, get $10 bonus vs. spend $100, 130 or 140 multiple times for $30 or $40 bonus cash. I can spend $60 easily but there’s no way I’m making all those multiple spends. Those offers are worthless to me.
