Finally got a Target Circle: 2-$85 for $15 rewards. Purchased 2 separate orders for $100 eDGC. Everything worked fast, and I received the reward. 12.5% savings, not bad at all. Need spending money on the ship.

Yes the rewards are based on the price before the 5% discount. I haven't seen that the rewards expire but I tend to spend them fairly quickly. They just get added to your circle account.

Yes, as long as it is not a Target card. If it is a Disney card, buy 1, $100 card for $95 with your red card, 4 times and you will see the circle rewards post. Remember the circle rewards can not be used to buy gift cards.

For slightly more clarity, you don't have to do another full bonus like this to reset the expiration date.

Putting in your circle phone number when buying any eligible rewards earning item extends the deadline, even a pack of gum.

So, basically, you'd have to be inactive at target for a year (or forget to enter your rewards number when purchasing for a year) for the rewards to expire.

I've never gotten even remotely close (Target is 5 minutes away) but does anyone know if they send an email if rewards are soon expiring?

Citi has a CVS offer! Terms very so read the details on your offer. I've got 10% back on 1 transaction up to $50 back, exp 1/31 on my citi custom cash and strata premier.

ETA- fun note from DoC comments, drugstores is a 5% category for Custom Cash so that should be 15%

I got a notification from Rakuten that in-store cash back for CVS is 5% (today only?) so stacked = 20%

My Target Circle Rewards that I just earned show an expiration of 1/11/26 so it looks like they give you a year.

Did you order things that earn rewards? Do you see those rewards crediting? If you just order GCs, those don't earn the base percentage rewards.

Yes I checked out with things that earn rewards however they changed it so that you no longer earn 1% rewards with any payment method.
I used to earn 6% with Discover and Freedom when in the quarter offering Target (5% CC and 1% cartwheel/circle)

I believe you can only earn rewards if using a red card (which I have but would rather not use as I'm usually working on a CC signup bonus) or you can earn them when targeted like others have mentioned the spend xxx so many times get x in rewards.

Oh Citi... so for anyone not in the know about Citi IT - they make Disney IT look competent. At the end of the day I think I'll clear $1k DGC for 17.5% off if the 5% extra from Rakuten clears as I did the deal on my Custom Cash and Strata Premier.

The primary on the Citi account needs to do this or at least take their phone with you/have them on call with time to spare for the fraud alerts.

Did it today, took about half an hour. (CVS actually allowed me to buy $500 DGCs which surprised me, although they did require a scan of my drivers license and self check-out wouldn't process it). Probably not the best use of my time lol but I was determined and over the years I've had many a merry go around with Citi Fraud/IT, I'd packed my patience. Numerous failed text messages & multiple phone calls later I got both of my transactions through. My other player got annoyed and gave up- this is not a deal for the impatient.

Just got back from Target and seeing all of these offer had me checking mine... Spend $120 x 4 to get $40. Would LOVE to know their algorithm for determining who gets what. I'm giving this one a pass and will wait for a better offer.

They did send emails before with notice of impending expiration. I'm not sure I'd want to count on it because things change and glitches happen. But I expect they would try to warn you still.

You never got rewards with the RedCard, it was 5% off using the card or earn 1% in rewards using other payments. They removed the 1% with the relaunch last year and rechecking the FAQs it looks like you only earn during promotions - so far that's these bonus offers.

I've used both Target GC (that used to earn 1% ) and the RedCard (really the Circle Card now ) this past year and I only have the $15 reward from a bonus in my Circle balance.

RMN has still been working for me. I always consider it an extra bonus if it tracks and pays though.

Is it me or has the price of DGCs gone up at BJs? Was excited to receive another $10 BJs coupon with a $150 spend but it barely feels like a deal anymore and unlike Target Circle, you actually have to spend $150 for the coupon to kick in. I got a membership because everyone said BJs regularly had the best price plus lots of coupons or deals throughout the year but this past year I haven't seen that and leaning toward not renewing...
