Cooking Need reciped for Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes

Does anyone have the recipe for the Yukon Gold Mashed potatoes? We had them this past week at Whispering Canyon Cafe and Hollywood & Vine. They were great!

Hello everyone, I posted a few months ago looking for the recipe for the mashed potatoes from the Whispering Canyon Cafe. I searched all the usual disney recipe sites and could not find the recipe, so I decided to contact the Wilderness Lodge. Well today the recipe came from WL, that was so nice of them to send it to me!! They are delicious!!! Here goes for anyone that is interested:

Ingredients
3 1/4 lbs Yukon Gold Whole Potatoes
1/3 lb Butter
1/16 Gallon Milk
1/3 oz Lodge Spice (see recipe below)
1/2 Gallon Water

Method of Preparation
1. In a large pot, bring water to boil.
2. Add the potatoes and cook until cooked through, about 40 minutes.
3. After potatoes are cooked, remove and strain.
4. Place the potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
5. Add Butter, Milk, and Lodge Spice to the potatoes. Mix well until smooth
creamy.
6. Adjust milk and seasoning to taste if necessary.
7. Serve hot.

LODGE SPICE
4 oz Kosher Salt
2 oz Granualated Onion
2 oz Celery Salt
1 oz Black Pepper
1 oz White Sugar
Method of Preparation
1. Combine all ingredients well.
2. Store in airtight container.

Lodge Spice s a great all-purpose seasoning. Use it on meats, fish, poultry, in soups and stews.

19 years later, thank you for this! We were blown away by the Wilderness Lodge mashed potatoes a couple of weeks ago.

4 oz Kosher Salt
2 oz Granualated Onion
2 oz Celery Salt
1 oz Black Pepper
1 oz White Sugar

Just curious-do you need to make Lodge Spice, or is it something I might find in the Wilderness Lodge Gift Shop? DH loves various spices and it would be a great gift for him.
