I did this one yesterday but I had to find some scones. The tea biscuits at Sobey's weren't calling my name so I ended up at Starbucks. When I was cashing out I told the staff member that it was national scone day and she threw an extra one in for me. Well I did need scones for the day. They were mini vanilla ices scones and suited the purpose quite nicely.

So apparently I got a date wrong. (not the first time and won't be the last time) It seems that they changed National French Fry day from always being held on July 13th to now being held of the 2nd Friday of the month. So National French Fry day is today and not tomorrow. I will be heading out to get some fries at a local chip truck today as you can't beat fries from a chip truck.
