We just got back on Saturday 3/15 from a 5-day trip to Disneyland. It was our fourth trip in 12 years, the last one being in 2019. It was me (57yo) and my 20yo son. I would have preferred sunnier and dryer weather, but as they say, a rainy day at Disneyland is better than a good day at the office. A few things of the top of my head that stuck out. (Longer review with photos coming soon).
DCA
Pym's was pretty good. Flo's V8 was awful. I've eaten better food at Denny's. Food & Wine savory choices were too few for my taste, as I don't eat jalapenos, wings or hot dogs. Wine Country Trattoria was the highlight of our entire trip.
Soaring over California needs to be a year-round thing. I will never tire of Radiator Springs Racers. Web Slingers was a one and done, BUT the character interactions at Avengers Campus made our day. My Marvel-loving son and I spent a ton of time there on both days we visited DCA.
This version of WOC was just ok. The water and light show portion was great, but the projections themselves were not the best quality. WOC: ONE also seemed to lack the wow factor and narrative of the other shows I've seen.

Give me all the Mickey-shaped food! What was up with all the huge school groups?!!! Rise of the Resistance!!!!! I love Fantasmic!, and our meal at River Belle Terrace was excellent, but paying those kinds of prices to be sitting on the ground is a scam. (And yes, I knew what I was getting into.) I don't care for the new bride story in HM. Bring back the murderess! I miss Facilier and Redd roaming around New Orleans Square. Rain at Disneyland sucks. The band never came out to play. (I assume they didn't want to get their instruments wet.) The characters don't come out to play in the rain. The fireworks were cancelled. Between the cold, the rain, the crowds, the lack of parade, and the cancellation of the fireworks, we were pretty miserable. We stuck it out though and got to watch Fantasmic!
EDITED TO ADD: How can I forget?!!!!! Tiana's Bayou Adventure was freaking amazing. Even my 20yo son was wowed.
Walt Disney Studios
What a day! It started with a Tim Allen sighting in a random subway shop in L.A. and ended with dinner at Tam O'Shanter's. And being IN Walt's office was the second highlight of our trip.
See y'all in 2030 for the 75th Anniversary! (Or maybe earlier than that for Oogie Boogie. LOL)
