I was looking over the menu's and I noticed Mr. Pibb on them. Please tell me my prayers have been answered!!!! I am not a big fan of Coke products - my DS is - but who cares because it's all about me!! :lmao: We usually don't get the refill mugs because I'm not going to drink anything Coke. I remember years ago they did have Mr. Pibb or something similar. I would be such a happy woman, it's really the little things in life.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. We stayed at WL in Feb. and it was no where to be found. How lucky for us, we are staying at AKV in Nov.

Isn't Mr. Pibb comparable to Dr.Pepper? I always miss it while I'm in Disney, though I can survive on diet Coke.

Is Mr Pibb new at WDW? I only drink Dr Pepper and they have never had Mr Pibb anywhere there before? I always settle for coke:(

I have seen Mr. Pibb at Pop and ASMu in the fountain. At all of the TS and CS that I have been to, I have never seen Dr. Pepper or Pibb. I think I read somewhere has cherry coke...Trail's end I think. To me this is only bad thing about Disney Dining ...They have nothing I that I like to drink. no SWEET tea, no Pibb, no Dr. Pepper. I have to settle for coke or sprite. My mama could not live without a 2 liter of coke a day and I just dont like drinking it.

Please Disney make a deal with Dr. Pepper!!!

I hate to burst your bubble but Mr. Pibb is a Coke product. :scared1:

I live on Dr. Pepper as well!! I'm from out West and Mr. Pibb is all they had and I moved to NY and couldn't find it anywhere. So I have adjusted to Dr. Pepper.

I thought Coke bottled Mr. Pibb, but Pepsi could too. I thought I heard that somewhere.

Only Coke products are sold on Disney property. From water to lemonade. Unless something really major happens in the next 50 years, I don't think that is going to change.

From wikipedia:

Mr. PiBB was introduced in July 1971 to compete against Dr Pepper and has a very similar taste, but was sweeter and not as sharp as Dr Pepper.[citation needed]

In 2001, a new flavor called Pibb Xtra was introduced with added cinnamon and cherry flavor, replacing the original flavor in many parts of the U.S. Some regions had both variations for sale at the same time.

There is currently an online petition to bring back the old version, Mr. PiBB, to areas that no longer receive shipments of Mr. PiBB, but rather Pibb Xtra. This petition has around 1800 signatures.[1]

The soda has a small but loyal following in many parts of the United States, especially the South. A diet version was also available into the 1990s in some markets, notably Texas. Some cans were uniquely shaped. Instead of the traditional cylinder, the can had faceted sides.

Mr PiBB's slogan in the late 1990s was "Put it in your head", and the can featured an odd cartoon head drawn in a squiggly scribble style.

In 2005, the Coca-Cola Company introduced Pibb Zero, a sugar-free version of Pibb Xtra, in Texas, Georgia, Kansas (except for areas around Wichita and Hutchinson, and the northwestern portion of the state), Oklahoma, Missouri, Chicago and parts of the Midwest. The Coca-Cola Company reports that there are no plans to introduce Pibb Zero to the rest of the US.[

I love Mr Pibb, there is only one place in our local town I can get it. I was hooked on when I spent time in Denver, it never caught on much in MI.

I was raised in Golden, CO - hence the Mr. Pibb addiction. Within the last year or so, I'm finding Pibb Xtra at the local fast food places, but that's it!!!!! So I now just get my fill of Dr. Pepper!!

Mr Pibb is a coke product I believe...Dr Pepper is bottled by coke and pepsi

I fell even more in love with WDW in '07 when we arrived at French Quarter, went to Sasagoula for lunch, and I saw they had fountain Vanilla Coke. Mind you, yhis was when Vanilla Coke was discontinued. No store on Earth had this wonder of all beverages, but darned if WDW didn't find a way.

I thought Dr. Pepper was bottled by Pepsi. :confused3

we live in Okaloosa County, Florida.... our Dr Pepper here is bottled by Coke...the next county to the East is Walton County, there it is bottled by Pepsi and has a whole different taste ( I Don't like it, it always taste flat to me) it is also bottled by Pepsi in the county to the north of us which is in Alabama.

That's weird, here it's a Pepsi product, and always goes on sale when Pepsi does.

Dr. Pepper, I think, is actually a independent brand, owned neither by Coke nor Pepsi. The Coca-Cola Bottling company in some areas of the country also bottle Dr. Pepper...thus no Mr. Pibb in those areas. In areas where the Pepsi bottler carries Dr. Pepper, you will find Coke bottling Mr. Pibb. Houston has Mr. Pibb, San Antonio does not.

I thought WDW only sells Pibb Xtra and not Mr. Pibb. That's what they had in the drink machine when the Food & Fun Center was open, in bottles at the Earl of Sandwich and at the Hess locations located on WDW property.
