Moonlight Magic Jan 2025!

January 26, 2025 is less than a month away now - and still no registration date for the DHS moonlight magic.
Anyone have any info?

It is annoying that they don't do registration earlier. There isn't a fixed schedule that they follow. If you're eligible, you'll receive an email shortly before registration. You can also check https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/discounts-perks-offers/member-events/moonlight-magic . For Jan 26 2025 at DHS, it still says "Please check back later for registration information. Event and registration dates are subject to change."

I wonder if some scramble to make a DVC reservation once the MM dates are announced with plans of canceling if they don't get MM. By making MM registration less than 30 days from the event, those people will either be locked into their reservations or their points go into holding.

This time, because it is on my check-out day and we already have flights booked, we're not doing MM, but we should still get the registration emails. Haven't received anything yet.

They are definitely keeping us on edge. We have January booked to be able to get Moonlight Magic at Hollywood Studios and we have Grand Californian booked in February for Moonlight Magic at California Adventure Park. We have never done that one before. I keep checking everyday. Good luck to all of us.

Still nothing! We head to Aulani for a week tomorrow and I am dreading the middle of the night scramble.

I tried to book a studio and and got a 1br at SSR because we have a bounce back booked for the week but I wanted to attend MM at HS. Stalked and got a 1 br at Kidani then changed to a studio at Kidani, and finally landed on a studio at Beach club villas. I was hoping that there would be cancellations 30 days out so I could add a night at BCV, but nothing yet.

I believe that each room booked on Y Member points can have as many tickets as there are guests booked in the room, assuming you get a low enough number in the VQ, but I have never tried to book for more than one room.

Are all the rooms/guest under your account with points or booked with cash via Member services?

Like another poster said, the rooms must be booked using member’s points and the membership must be eligible for membership extras aka “Y”.

I just realized I will be at WDW for the 1/26 MM. However, we want to go to the 7/17 event. I’m assuming it will be one MM per membership in 2025 as well.

One per park so if the events on both those dates are for the same park, you would be limited to attended just one. If different parks, you can do both.

I honestly think that they should limit it to one MM event per year since so many owners never get a chance to go....

Do you know if that is a per year limit I'm assuming? Meaning we attended AK MM in Oct 2024, can we still attend AK MM Feb 2025? Was planning to take my wife's parents this time around.

Its by calendar year....so, once per park for 2025....so what you did in 2024 doesn't count!!!

Thank you for this clarification! I'm a new member and only been to MM once so I am unsure of the rules. I will try for 1/26 but we are staying at the Swan Reserve so the chances of me getting tickets in the general reservation are low.

I checked and there it was! Could have had it but common sense kicked in and I'll be skipping an impromptu trip to WDW!

It was tempting but I'm going for 2 weeks end of February. I need to wait! Hope someone who wanted the night got it.

My FOMO kicked in and I was going to rush over but then remembered I’m already staying at BCV, which is far more convenient.

Now I just need Disney to release the registration entry time and pray it’s during a window I’ll be at my computer.
