Wasnt sure where to post this..we are arriving several hours early before we need to head to port canaveral for our cruise..is there anywhere to access/eat/sit down restaurant etc after you arrive at MCO, or is that just the departure area?

There is a food court between terminal A & B, before security, or I guess after when you are getting off the planes? I know there are fast food places there but I think there are nice places too. It's level 3 so if you have to find your bags you'd need to go back up to it after.

We always go to McCoy's which is in the lobby area of the Hyatt.

We go to the Chik-Fil-A if it’s not a Sunday. There are a number of places to eat in the Food Court before security.

We arrive at 9 am..not sure which terminal, I dont even think it says on the ticket..not that I can see anyhow..flying from Buf to MCO.

Ok, so seems no matter which terminal we will have access to a few options..we will try and kill some time..and for sure do a sit down if we have the option!

If you're flying JetBlue, you will arrive in Terminal C. I'm pretty sure all the food places in Terminal C are before security, so you would have to eat before you picked up your bags. However, even if you arrive in Terminal C you can go over to Terminal A/B (post-security) and eat there.

Airline determines terminal, all US airlines except JetBlue come in to A/B. There are three full service sit down restaurants in A/B besides the food court.

They have some food options pre security. I saw a Starbucks near the rental car counter in Terminal A/B, and there is also a Romano’s Macaroni Grill and the Hyatt has a place called McCoys.

Yes, Jetblue..so I guess terminal C..would the food be before or after the tram?
The food at Terminal C is all before security. So you'd find a place to eat after you left your gate. It's not like A/B, where there are restaurants outside of security. In Terminal C, it's all inside security.

There are places to eat right across from the gates and also in the main sort of hub area. All of this is before you walk the long half mile, exiting the secure area and going to baggage claim. So if you have to claim your baggage first, you will be outside the food choices in Terminal C and you'll have to go over to A/B to get something to eat. The tram that runs between A/B and C is outside security.

Note as well that there are also 2 small coffee shops at the domestic side of baggage claim in Terminal C. One of them is Starbucks, while another is a local coffee shop called Barnie’s.

Oh, that's true. I'd forgotten about them. But I wouldn't really call those a place to have a meal.
