We are currently in mk eating ice cream in the yellow tables in front of edys ice cream in the hub, with a great view of the castle.
is it possible to stay and watch the fireworks from here? We could do dinner from caseys, etc…

or is this area cleared out for a be paid party or similar?

Seems like that would be fantastic but man - that's a long time to stake out a table. Good luck!

It’s on The right just after main street shops end, right behind one of the areas used for parties. With the four of us we swapped off, they had ice cream while The rest Rode rides, then swapped and the others had Dinner from Casey’s. The area wasn’t full until just now. We just managed to get a front row table. having some of the party willing to hang back there made it work.

How was the view for fireworks?

View was great, even better it was comfortable in padded seats. Did have a dedicated wife and mother in law who sat and kept the seats in use,, about 90 minutes before every one else caught on. Still like wishes better, and honestly the projections on the one just replaced made more sense. Though everyone still had fun

Glad you had a nice viewing spot.

Also, since the fireworks are still more than 3 hours away, that's a long time to tie up a table that other guests would need for eating their meals at.

I suppose I've been visiting long enough that I'm accustomed to the idea of eating my lunch/dinner on top of a garbage bin, due to lack of seating. On my Magic Kingdom days, I eat dinner at 4 PM just so I can get a table outdoors. Sleepy Hollow is the worst offender.

That's one of the few gripes I have with Magic Kingdom.

We did our share of garbage top eating (food and wine)… normally it would be too long to sit there but having an extra mother in law along that wasn’t interested in rides and was interested in sitting and people watching helped
