Magic Band Pre Order Availability

Went to pick out pre arrival magic bands and find they only have 9 available options (that nobody wants).

Does this change regularly? Why aren’t all options available for guests to preorder magic bands?

What do you consider all options? They can only sell what is currently available in stock at the fulfillment location when your order is placed. Just keep checking.

There is not a massive warehouse of all currently available MB+ just resort only pre-orders. Note: They don't have access to the retail inventory that is available in the parks or from other authorized MB+ locations.

Check daily. It changes. I wanted plain colors for the kids and finally one day there was a large selection with a bunch of different colors to choose from. It’s unfortunate that they all need to be ordered at the same time.

Yes inventory availability changes daily or any time inventory is added so you could check in the morning and find nothing of interest, and in the afternoon a complete different set of MB+ could be available. And, yes you have to order all them at the same time due to the ever changing inventory.

You order them from the MDE website. For DVC points reservations, you typically have to manually link the room reservation to MDE.

For anyone wanting solid color mb+, there are a bunch today available as pre-arrival: black, grey, cream, pink (dark and light), navy, maybe more.

Last time I checked for our upcoming stay there were 7 to choose from and todays there's 24 so I'd say to keep checking as it updates frequently.

After reading this post I wanted to look at availability but was surprised to see the following message. Are any other International guests seeing the same?

They have really good sales occasionally too, so check often. I got a super cute Dumbo one for like $19. I got a lot of compliments on it from CMs.

You must order all the bands you wish in a single transaction. Once you have completed the transaction you will not be able to purchase any other bands using the discount offered to onsite guests.

Yup - it’s order for all or nothing…been that way since day 1.

I agree, especially now that we have to pay for them. WDW just does not want to send out more than 1 shipment.

WDW has never sent more than 1 shipment of MBs for a reservation.

I like having my name stamped on the back of my MB - I don’t think that’s an option other than by ordering thru MDE…but maybe there’s someplace that does that?

Yeah you can get an order for each reservation. Part of why I have so many MBs is we do a lot of splits.

Yup - you can!
