For quite sometime now, I have been unable to log into the DVC website using the Firefox browser. I have narrowed the issue down to my Windows 10 computer - it appears to work on Windows 11 and iOS (Apple phone). I have contacted DVC IT, and they have not been able to duplicate the problem so far. The usual fixes, such as delete cookies and cache, do not work.

Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it? I can get in using Edge, but I prefer Firefox.
Thanks for your help!

I have not used this Windows 10 computer for some time.

Firefox was on version 43.

After upgrade after upgrade and finally reaching the current version of 132 I then was able to login.

Maybe try updating and restarting?

Thanks eticket and muppets. I have tried all that you mentioned already.

Using Firefox 132.0.2. It automatically updates all the time. Have used private browsing. Turned off my ad blockers. Deleted cookies and cache. All the usual stuff.

When I enter my my email address in the log in screen, 3 dots move underneath to show that the website is doing something. But when I put in my password, the program appears to freeze. No moving dots.

Do you have your password saved? After entering your password try clicking on the eye with a line on it to show the password.
If the password is wrong, try entering the right one again it may have picked up an invisible space.
If it is right delete the last character, type it again and then see if you can login.

I'm not sure if you are possibly using an address that is no longer working.

https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/home/ website will take you to the dashboard

I have a similar issue happenning but it’s on my iphone16 on safari where it sometimes seems to get hung up in that loading screen. The odd thing for me is it seems to work or not work depending on if I’m on wifi or cellular. Sometimes if not working if I sign out completely and sign back in it works again. I feel like this all started when I had to do that 2 way authentication email so I think something is wrong with it validating/remembering that I signed in previously. It also seems to be worse when I have generic slow internet but again it’s a new issue that came around after that authentication so I assume it’s something in Disney IT related to that.

I agree the mfa thing seems to have introduced some quirks.

I will login now, click on "Book a vacation" put in my dates and then it makes me login again and then I can book.
Very frustrating at 8 am when trying to book something at the 7 month mark or even the 11 month for Food & Wine.

There has to be a setting in the way you've configured Firefox, perhaps the anti-tracking features, that is keeping it from working. I would say that unless you want to meticulously go through all your Firefox settings, or blow out your Firefox profile and create a new one, just use Edge or some other browser.

Thanks Muppets3d. I tried making the website an exception to the anti-tracking features, but it still didn't work. I guess I'll have to keep using Edge.

I don't know about the DVC website, but I've had logon issues with both disneyworld.com and disneygiftcard.com using my correct logon & password on my Firefox browser. As soon as I hit “signin” the logon process is stopped, and I get prompted to use a one time code emailed to me. When I do that everything works fine & I am able to logon. So I changed my password given the warnings Disney printed with the instructions to get a “one-time code.” Only problem is that even with the new password, I have to use a new one-time code AGAIN, and AGAIN and AGAIN in order to log on.

Eventually I actually ended up having a telephone conversation with a Disney tech support lady who told me they've helped others with the very same problem. But when the very same one-time code prompt reoccurred with her on the phone, she asked me to use different browser if I could. Since I had Microsoft Edge installed (which is not my default browser) I gave that one a try. Bingo! Everything worked okay without needing that extra access code. After I told her I’ve been using Firefox for years … she explained that all this could have been a result of some minor change with Disney’s web site recently, or a software update to my browser, one just can’t say for sure. She did say that Disney’s best web site interaction is with Google’s Chrome browser, for whatever that is worth to you all. So I tried the MDE app on my wife’s Google phone and sure enough, it worked perfectly too. And it has worked successfully ever since then on my computer using the Microsoft Edge browser instead of Firefox. But to this day, whenever I use Firefox, Disney still sends me the one time code email. :sad2:

I suspect (but don't authoritatively know) that Firefox rolled out some big updates earlier this year, as I've started to have some other minor, but strange, issues with other web sites too. I guess only the Great & Powerful Wizard of IT at OZ knows for sure. :teeth:

Thanks, iwannabdduck. I had the identical problem with the Disney World website too. It makes sense, since there is now one login and password for all Disney sites. I don't get the request for a one-time code though - I just get a frozen window with a sign telling me to call Disney about the issue.

I'm having the problem with Firefox on my Windows 10 computer. I can get in with Firefox on my Windows 11 laptop, as well as my Apple iPhone. Also with Safari on the iPhone. So the only device having this issue seems to be my Windows 10 computers. Thankfully, Edge is working perfectly on them.

Windows 10 had a software update today, but it didn't fix the problem. I was hoping!

If anyone else is experiencing this issue or has an idea of how to fix it, I'd love to hear from you! I'm pretty good with computers and can usually figure things out, so this is very frustrating.

Thank you for this. I tried dvc site again at work on my phone and didn’t work using Firefox. I then downloaded chrome on phone and tried and it worked first time. Since it seems to intermittently have problems I tried again on Firefox and again didn’t work. Back to chrome and it worked again. I definitely can get site to work on Firefox but seems to be more sensitive to slow internet/timing out or something so looks like chrome is the way to go.
