Let's binge watch stuff

I'll have to give them both a chance. I watched the first episode of Killing Eve and it didn't grab me but I guess I can give it another couple episodes.
I'd say you should. It's the kind of show where you will alternate between loving and loathing every single character at one point or another. :thumbsup2

I might try The Great but I’m not sure. I liked four wedding and high fidelity.

Give it a go. If you are in the least bit offended by sex it is not the show for you. Sex is a huge part of Peter and his court (actually historically accurate even though he was probably sterile himself) I am a history teacher and absolutely love historical fiction. It is so inappropriate but I love the sarcasm. It is not in anyway historically accurate kinda like Reign (which i tried and might try again), but still I am trying so hard to only watch one episode a day since there is only the one season and I don't want to finish it up that fast.

As opposed to Succession, where it's simply impossible to like even a single character. The early episodes are a bit of a slog, but it does build as time goes on. Season two is riveting, but not in the ways you might normally expect. All those characters you can't stand, they're impossible not to watch because the performances are all absolutely incredible. I highly recommend, despite the fact it's a bit hard to stay with in the early episodes.

For light, mindless entertainment in a completely different vein try Velvet and the Velvet Collecion on Netflix. Velvet is the original series, much more absurdly melodramatic, but quirky and fun. Collecion is the spinoff series and is much lighter on the melodrama, heavier dose of the comedic. Subtitled from Spain.

Finally found time to binge something...
Spy Games on Bravo
8 episodes
Not as bad I thought it would be.

We binged all of Altered Carbon in four days this week (including watching the entire first season in one day on Sunday). I really enjoyed it and I'm sad there won't be a third season.

So I am a Jurassic Park fan - I loved the camp cretaceous cartoon series. I also loved the Enola Holmes movie on Netflix. I also discovered Lucifer and loved it especially the first 2 seasons.

Lockdown binges:
The Haunting of Bly Manor (so disappointed in this)
Six seasons of Shameless (stopped watching after this as I wasn't enjoying it as much)
Schitt's Creek
The West Wing
Justified
The Vampire Diaries
Castle Rock
Primeval
Sweet Magnolias
Virgin River
Once Upon a Time
Anne With An E
Currently working through Four in a Bed, which I'm obsessed with and has me convinced I could run a bed and breakfast (I could not).

Just about to start Brave New World tonight.

DW and I binged Still Game, a sitcom about a bunch of pensioners living in a fictional suburb of Glasgow. DW thought it was a hoot; I liked it but not as much as she did.

We've watched all the Escape To The Country episodes we could find on the streaming services, but recently discovered a bunch more uploaded to YouTube. DW really likes it and I really like going to sleep to it. Very soothing. :D

I think I may be the only person who's never watched an Episode of Game of Thrones. May start that this weekend.

Almost done with season 2 of The Boys. Really loving it, so far. Finished watching The Umbrella Academy, which was surprisingly good. Kind of on a superhero kick it seems, even though I'm normally sick of that genre.

Speaking of superheroes, I hear good things about The Watchmen series on HBO. Which is a surprise, I wasn't sure why they needed to expand on the original story.

We LOVED Umbrella Academy. I was so surprised at how funny it was!

Thank you! My kids said I should re-read Watchmen first, and that they loved it. We are rotating through all the premium services--will hit HBO up soon for that.
