Laundry bag or pop up hamper?

Bag. I like shoving our dirty stuff in there and then hiding the bag back in a suitcase under the bed or in the steamer trunk ;-)

I bring several laundry bags. We don't do laundry on the ship. End of trip I just put bags with clothes in them in our suitecases. Makes packing easy.

We just pack a trash bag in everyone's own luggage to use for their own dirty clothes. I don't do laundry on board so I see no reason to mix everyone's dirty clothes together. .. It all stays separate until we get home.

I use a garbage bag, I wash our swimsuits, under garments, pjs etc fill out the load with regular clothes. I like to know we always have clean clothes you never know if you'll need them. I do a load every 2nd day in the evening

We use both. Laundry bag to get dirty clothes to the washer, popup hamper to bring folded clothes back to the room and to "lay out" things that need to air dry [either because they cannot go in the dryer or because the dryer did not fully dry and I don't want to do another cycle].

We use garbage bags. We store them in the closet and when one is full I put it in one of our suitcases under the bed.

we use our pop up hamper, we place it in the closet and it's very easy, we have a tall narrow one vs one of the shorter wider ones because the closet is narrow

Pop up hamper in the closet- out of the way.
Laundry bag to carry load to and from laundry room- easy peasy.

I just put the wash back in the suitcase that is under the bed easy to pull out pop the clothes in put it back under. Makes packing so easy at the end since by the last day all our clothes are back in suitcase. I put socks in underwear in bag by itself and fold the clothes somewhat and put them in the suitcase. Hard to put a full garbage bag back in the suitcase. Clothes don't get that dirty. Bathing suit go in a zip lock bag if wet or just with the other dirty clothes if we let them dry in the bath tub.

Even pack our formal clothes back in the suitcases after those night too. I don't want to spend the last day packing...lol

We did the pop-up hamper (actually 2 for a family of 4), and it worked great for us! We didn't want to waste our cruising time doing laundry, so this was a great way to keep our dirty clothes in one place, out of the way, until the end of our trip. :laundy:

Was space an issue?

Was space an issue?

No, they were mesh and folded flat and fit perfectly in the bottom of our luggage and in the room, we just put them in an unused corner and behind where the curtain that separates the room, is, so it wouldn't be in our way.

We use a pop-up hamper in the closet also. Works great to keep our dirty clothes in. When it's time to pack up anything that didn't get worn goes all together in one suitcase section and all the rest get filled with the dirties from the hamper. I've only done laundry once on the Panama Cruise since it was 15 nights. We don't try to pack light.
