Kroger rewards vs. Giant Eagle fuelperks

We are trying to decide how to pay for our fall trip. If we buy gift cards at Kroger or Eagle, which store has better gas rewards? The trip will be over $3500 so we want to maximize our gas savings. Suggestions? And if something were to happen and we had to cancel does Disney refund the cost of the trip in cash or put it back on a gift card?

I can't say with 100% certainty but I find kroger runs 4x fuel rewards more than Giant Eagle. Plus at least for me I have more kroger/shell stations than GE to choose from. I would buy GC at which ever is better for you or use both if you shop both stores.

AS for Disney doing refunds I have read they refund to gift card if used, I have never experienced this myself, Only time I had refund they did it to my CC.

Disney refunds the source of payment, so if you pay by gift card, the refund will be by gift card. If you threw the used gift card out, they will send you a new one.

As for Kroger vs Giant Eagle. If you plan on using points for fuel while travelling to Disney, definitely go with Kroger since they have stores throughout the south, except Florida. You won't find any Giant Eagles south of Ohio/Pa/northern WV.
